Just received a FABULOUS, full-body massage from Sam. The man is a magician! My back and neck have…read morebeen causing me serious issues lately, including even having to miss a day of work because of the worst stiff neck of my life. He worked out all my muscle knots and helped to realign my shoulder blades and various joints, which have been displaced due to muscle tightness. It took the whole hour, but I'd say he managed to release all the tension that has been collecting in my muscles. I feel fantastic. Let's face it, these days of the pandemic have been stressful for most people. So, pampering myself was quite the treat. Of course, I had concerns about getting a massage during Covid, with regard to my safety, particularly because I am living with someone who is at high risk. But Sam has taken every necessary precaution to keep his clients and him safe during these exceptional times. From the moment I arrived, it was obvious he wasn't taking any chances. He took my temperature and his. He had just changed into a freshly-cleaned pair of scrubs. We both wore face masks the whole time. Everything had been scrubbed down and table linens replaced between client visits. Hand sanitizer and wipes are placed in multiple locations throughout the facility. Bottom line, I felt totally safe--and that's saying a lot, given how cautious I've been since March. The other thing that needs to be shared is how inviting a setting the massage room is. When you first enter the business, the waiting area looks like that of any other health-related business (e.g., doctor's office); it's where Sam discusses what he'll be doing during your massage, based on what your needs are (as indicated on your pre-visit questionnaire). But then, when you enter the massage room, you are instantly transported into an incredibly tranquil space. The ambiance is perfect, The lighting provides a soft glow, while the decor's features, like dark wood, plants, and landscape photography, transform the room into a relaxing and soothing environment. Naturally, throughout the entire massage experience, soft, new-age music is playing quietly. It was wonderful. I highly recommend Rockin' Good Health and Sam. He's attentive to your specific needs, is extremely professional, and is an expert at massage therapy. You deserve to treat yourself to this personal renewal.

Floating was a neat and unique experience: a first time for us, but it wont be the last! My wife…read moreand i came for the 90min floating, but metta also has reflexology and massage services as well. After a quick waiver and recap of the process by the owner, we went down to two of the floating rooms. (Since this is suppossed to be a sensory deprivation experience, you do it alone. No option to float in the same room or pool like you might with a couples massage) The rooms are heated, and after stripping down and taking a shower, you enter the tub (approx 7ft x 4ft x 1ft) filled with a water/Epsom salt mix, heated to 93 degrees to match the temperature of the outside of your body. Entering into the solution, the 90 lbs of Epsom salt dissolved in the 9-12" water completely supports your weight as you float effortlessly. Once the music fades away and you hit the light switch, the room is completely pitch black. At this point, everything is silent, dark and effortless. Then it was time to find some balance in the pool, lean your head back until its completely being supported by the water, and just try to zone out and relax. At approx the 60min mark, the music fades in, marking the end of the session. Turn on the light, exit the pool and take a shower, rinsing off all the salt water solution. Bathrobes are provided if you wish. There is a changing area right outside the rooms, with mirrors, lights, hair dryers and Q-tips. Overall, the experience was very relaxing, as we both fell asleep. Highly recommended and would definitely do again. Facilities were very clean and staff was very friendly. Veteran discount. Parking out front at meters or in back in small lot (which could be marked better).

I had a very uncomfortable situation here. I arrived for a session and found that there are no…read moreprivate spaces for sessions. A client is expected to sit in an area, elbow to elbow with 2 other customers and 3 practitioners, none of which were wearing masks. And discuss what health issues have triggered the visit. That was incredibly odd and I've never seen that before. I appreciate that they moved me to a private bath area for the prepaid situation but the practitioner practically shrieked at me when I asked about masks and vaccine status. We were in a very small bathroom-size space with limited air flow and she was not wearing a mask. As a family member is immune compromised, I must always assess my risks and I asked them to wear a mask. In short, I felt I had to fight for basic safe practices and made to feel like I was "asking too much". It was the opposite of relaxing and healing. If I had not prepaid this session, I would have walked out. No matter what your politics are, Covid 19 is still a deadly reality for people who have immune compromised folks in their family. Any business should be willing to reasonably discuss this with customers if there are red flags like multiple customers squeezed into small spaces without masks. If you are considering this place, I highly recommend you visit first and check it out. If you are okay with these practices, that's great. If you are looking for the privacy and safety most people expect in a spa visit, this is not the place.
