Hummus Republic is located inside Bella Terra. It's similar style to Chipotle where you can pick and choose what ingredients to add in. Their ingredients tasted pretty fresh and delicious! Their sauce is good too. I got the bowl and it was definitely filling. They only have a few tables inside. I'll definitely be coming back to eat as it's a quick grab and go.
Had the most delicious greek bowl here! Tons of gorgina vegan options that are clearly labeled. I ordered a bowl with Street Mix and ate the entire bowl for dinner. The service was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. Tons of quiet indoor/outdoor seating, which we appreciated. We will absolutely be back!
They currently have a Friday falafel deal where you can get five pieces for only one dollar the staff are super nice and the falafel was honestly worth it for a dollar and it also came with some tahini sauce on the side which was pretty good. Although this is more of a grab and go place with no seating inside, you can sit outside and there's this grass nice area with good benches.
I came into this spot with my friend on a Monday night. It is located at Bella Terra across from the movie theater. There are no seats inside but chairs and tables are outside. How to order - you are asked to choose either a pita, bowl, or a wrap. After, you can pick your greens (mixed greens, spinach) and hummus. Next is the protein. I chose chicken shawarma and mushroom shawarma. You can also pick toppings such as olives, cabbage, onions, couscous (I don't remember them all). And lastly sauces:) I love the idea of their build your own bowl or wrap :) def give this spot a try. Flavors were great. I'd come back.
Oh my goodness! I love this place. I had to bring my husband here and show how good the food is here. I used to go to the DTLA location over ten years ago. It was my go to eatery for lunch. It's a build your own pita sandwich, bowl, wrap, kinda place. My husband had the bowl and I had a wrap. It certainly hit the spot. Definitely going back
Ate here for lunch today. Service was top notch. Friendly and helpful. The food was super fresh and full of Mediterranean flavors. It is a build your own pita, wrap, or bowl restaurant. A lot of choices for meats and veggies and toppings and sauces. We ate right out front as they have great tables and a big patio open to a green area where kids can run around and play. They have umbrellas and lots of shade. Would definitely eat here again.
Clean ingredients and a variety of vegan-friendly options! I got the Lemon Chicken + Shawarma Chicken Spinach Wrap, my dad got the Moroccan Beef, and my mom got the Shawarma Chicken salad. All three entrees were delicious!! They are also friendly and generous with portions which is hard to find these days. You can tell that they use organic, fresh ingredients. There are a ton of options, many of which are vegan and vegetarian. I could come to this place every day and create something new and tasty. Highly recommend y'all give this place a try!

I'm a sucker for mediterranean bowls. So you bet I had to try this place. Conveniently located On the Green at Bella Terra by the movie theaters. Great option for a healthy but filling meal. Pita sandwiches, bowls, or wraps. Make it your own. For the bowls, you can mix & match your bases - rice, greens, lentils. Pick your protein, my go to is chicken shawarma. You get up to 2 spreads and unlimited amount of toppings. The wrap is also good. Great taste, just wish they gave a little more protein. We got a small scoop of chicken on the bowl & decided to just pay extra to get extra meat. They also have tons of vegetarian / vegan options.
Hummus Republic is located in the Bella Terra plaza, near the movie theater. It has a small interior with no indoor seating, but the plaza itself has so many nice outdoor seating for dining and lounging. It is a build-your-own type of place and you can choose a bowl, wrap, or pita. I love build-your-own because I pack on everything possible and it is super filling and worth the money. I have never had couscous before, so that was a new and interesting base for me. It is considered a type of pasta because it is made from wheat flour and water, and it was very flavorful and a great rice substitute. I loved the hummus and spread options, especially the kalamata olive since I notice that not a lot of places offer this type. I got lemon chicken for my protein, which was super delicious and well-flavored. However, it is a bit too soft for my liking--almost paste-like. I prefer my chicken to have more of a bite. I went crazy and pretty much added all the available toppings. The bowl was delicious, fresh, filling, and overall so satisfying. I will 100% be back whenever I get a craving for Mediterranean foods.
I had really been looking forward to trying Hummus Republic based on the online menu along with the signs throughout Bella Terra that showcased fresh looking healthy food. Today I went to Hummus Republic at Bella Terra in Huntington Beach and the experience was anything but positive. First, I must preface that I rarely (if ever) write a negative review on Yelp and to prompt me to do so had to have been a really bad experience. This was just that. I am vegan and was very much looking forward to building a salad and had considered leaving when I observed the wilted spinach and lettuce but decided to give it a chance. The store was clean and the woman who was working didn't appear to be thrilled to be there. I asked a few questions with reference to the chickpeas that were on the online menu and she pointed to a bowl of chickpeas in plastic bag that looked like they were days old and stated that they were cold and if I wanted them warmed up she could do so. I declined as I simply wanted to leave at that point. I provided a tip as a courtesy and she did not thank me for the order nor the tip; simply told me that utensils were in the corner of the restaurant. The salad was $13.50 and with a $1.50 tip, this was the most expensive wilted salad I ever paid for. Again, I had really been looking forward to a great Hummus Republic experience but it was a complete fail. There are many great restaurants in this area where you could purchase a $15 salad that is delicious, healthy, and fresh.

Probably won't be back. If there is inflation, at least be mindful of customers and give a fair portion of food. Pls don't be stingy...
First time here and wanted to check out something healthy! Craving something for a late lunch and decided to come here. The girl that was helping me was very nice and since I was the only one there and it was my first time she was very patient and explained and recommended a lot of items. I decided for a Custom Bowl with half rice & chickpeas with spring mix salad. I couldn't decided on the hummus other than the spicy harrisa and she recommended the tzatziki sauce and also the eggplant hummus. As for protein she opened each lid for me to see but at the end decided for chicken shawarma Onto the next were the toppings and I literally got a little bit of everything. The topping sauce she recommended since I liked spicy to mix the spicy jalapeño tahini and the next level up, Forgot what the name was, maybe the Moroccan sauce. Of course had to get a side of pita chips and hummus. Probably could have done without the hummus since I got my bowl but she gave me 3 scoops of traditional hummus and the pita chips were nice and fresh! Overall, yummy experience! The bowl was huge! I've been to this Hummus Republic location twice and had mixed experiences. On a weekday visit, the generous hummus serving was fresh and delicious, but service was really slow despite the restaurant being empty. On a weekend visit, the pita chips were overcooked and overly salted. When I mentioned it at pickup, the concern was brushed off. The hummus, however, was again delicious. The restaurant has been empty both times I've visited, even though neighboring restaurants in the surrounding mall area were quite busy. Maybe due to inconsistent customer experience? read more

My husband is Greek so I wanted to try this place. I just grabbed a little side of tzatziki and reg hummus to try. It's overpriced in my opinion. Four tiny scoops and 1 piece of pita bread was $8. The skin is left on all of the cucumber and it was very bitter. My husband told me that's the traditional way to make it is with the green skin on. Personally I always peel some off so it doesn't have that bitter taste. The lemonades looked really good though, I would try those next time and maybe a wrap. I built my own bowl with mushroom shwarma. There's alot of components and options for the bowl which I appreciate. My favorites were the zesty feta and kalamata hummus. Dolmades on the side were yummy. Workers here are very friendly and very patient. I'm obsessed with the lemonade flavor options-I tried the ginger turmeric mixed with some regular lemonade. I love coming to this place! The food is so flavorful and I am so glad everything is customizable! The staff were super sweet and welcoming and even gave me some pita chips to try! My only suggestion is that they bring back the waffle sweet potato fries! They were so crispy and I was really looking forward to them! Nestled in across from the Bella Terra Cinemark theatres is this gem. This is a build your own bowl, wrap or burrito. The staff is so friendly. She offered tastes of the hummus (all 6 flavors) and the meats. We chose the bowl with half garbanzo beans and couscous. This combo of those 2 were delicious. We choose 3 of the hummus - eggplant, spicy hummus and olive hummus. All the chicken we felt was a little dry. We chose the falafel and added our toppings. The garbanzo croutons were yummy. The server offered us a selection of sauces. The falafel was slightly dry as well. Overall, the concept is great, the restaurant was squeaky clean and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. It should really be ranked 4.5 stars but I had to chose. It was the dryness of the chicken and falafel that dropped it to 4 stars. Please try this place, everything was great. They just need to tweak the proteins. We will be back !! read more
