Max does a great job and is truly dedicated to his business. I notice that he works quickly and efficiently and I appreciate that completely. He's flexible and seems to be willing to work around my schedule to get the job done. I've used quite a bit of detailing services in Humboldt and so far Max has exceeded them all. He definitely has a regular client in me and I would recommend him to anyone that asks. read more

What an excellent experience!!! I texted Max for an estimate to detail my 2012 Honda CRV. Within minutes he called me & arranged a day to come to my house. The day before the appointment he texted me a reminder & the morning of gave me an ETA. Max worked wonders with my car. It absolutely looks like brand new!!! Every nook and cranny, the carpeting, the floor mats, all spotless. It's so clean I don't want to drive it & get it dirty! I highly recommend Max. If I could give him 10 Stars, I would. read more

I am glad that Max at Humboldt Mobile Detailing is good communicating about information, questions answered and scheduling. Max spent about 6 hours in my driveway detailing my 2017 Subaru Forester and when he was done, it was as clean and tidy as any 8-year old vehicle could be. I will use Humboldt Mobile Detailing again in the future. read more

HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Max was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely kind. His work was superb, detail-oriented and his price was reasonable. My 2003 truck had been parked in my driveway, in the redwoods, for 9 months. There was a great deal of mildew inside and out, plus some old coffee stains on the carpet. The carpet now looks new again, coffee stains are gone! So is the mildew. He advised me the mildew could leave stains on the seat belts, but very few were left. The exterior paint is 17 years old and I chose not to have it buffed to a sheen like a fancy showy sports car. However, Max made it look smooth, glossy and shiny with its new wax job. Perfect for a 4 door family truck. I was impressed by how fast and expertly he worked. I will definitely hire this company again and I will tell all my friends to call Humboldt Mobile Detailing when they need their vehicles spiffed to perfection! read more

I decided to treat myself to have my car detailed! Best treat I've given myself What an awesome job! This time of year it gets dark early. He stayed and used a headlamp to finish up the few special details. The work was impeccable even the work that was finished by headlamp!! Extremely competent and very pleasant to work with!! Number 1 in my book!! read more

Truly the BEST auto detailing I've ever seen! Max did a stellar job, and worked so hard since he was all alone detailing my dad's F-150 truck inside and out--he even came to do the job on a holiday!! My dad received the detailing as a gift (what do you get a man who already has everything?), and when Max presented the truck after he was all done with the job, my dad was so impressed he was stunned. And folks, I'm going to tell ya, my dad is a hard man to please and harder to impress. The truck, which is four years old now, looks BRAND NEW after being detailed by Max!!!! Seriously, if you want your car, no matter how old it is, to look like it just rolled off the showroom floor, Humboldt Mobile Detailing does exactly that. If I could give 5 millions stars I would!! read more

This is THE best detail place in Eureka/Arcata. My minivan was disgusting from kids and general roadtrip mess. It is now perfect. Its cleaner and nicer than when I bought it from the dealership!! This mobile detail team is fast, professional and their prices are better than anyone else. Trust me...everyone else adds on a bunch of extra charges for random things like pen marks or trash under seats or item removal. Not here. Your quote is your price. I cant wait to call them again for another vehicle. I cannot recommend them enough!! I dont even leave reviews but I just had to because their work is beyond amazing. Customer Service is A+++ and response time for making an appointment is fast! Thanks Humboldt Mobile Detailing!! I am in love with my minivan again read more

I have never been able to afford a full detail job on my car, but Max suggested a mini-detail at a fair price, and I couldn't pass it up. It was exactly what my car needed, and exactly what I could afford! I am very impressed with the service and price, and will definitely use them again! read more

Got a recommendation for them and was not disappointed. The vehicle was over 15 years old and now looks like the day we bought it new off the lot. The attention to detail is amazing. I am finding places cleaned that could of easily been missed. Some how they removed stains on the seats I thought could never be lifted. I will definitely be doing business again with Max. read more

Max went above and beyond detailing our car today. Our grimey kid car looks brand new again and is ready to be sold! His quick response and scheduling made for a really smooth process (ideal for a busy mom). Thanks, Max! We look forward to working with you again on our current vehicles for general upkeep. read more

They arrived at my home promptly at the time agreed and spent over 6 hours doing the best and most extensive auto detailing job on my car that I have ever seen. The 2 young men were dressed in uniform and had signage on their vehicle, which was encouraging to me. Each time I checked on them through the window, both were working non-stop the entire time. The car is 10 years old and now looks brand new. Every inch of the car has been revitalized! I would definitely reccomend this company, especially if you are fussy like I am! read more

My 2012 Toyota Matrix was getting pretty gross, after driving it for work and for countless road trips all over the West Coast, so I took it to Max's shop to get the interior detailed. I live pretty close, so didn't take advantage of their mobile service. I have to say, it looks nearly brand new on the inside, despite all the dirt and grime I'd accumulated over the years. Overall, Max did an excellent job - he even washed the exterior. They got the tape residue off of the back window, vacuumed and shampooed every single square inch of the carpet and upholstery, and cleaned and polished every surface til it shone. Only thing missed was the glove compartment, but it wasn't a big deal. There is a lingering scent of upholstery shampoo, but it's not unpleasant. I was impressed that they got almost every stain out of the upholstery. I'm stoked on my spotless car, and I highly recommend Max and Humboldt Mobile Detailing to anyone in Humboldt County. Excellent communication and attention to detail, and damn is my car clean now. read more

Max and Chris did a very through and professional job on my van. Highly recommended!!

I've had two of my vehicles done by Max and both turned out awesome. My wife's car got construction paint all over it and somehow they managed to get that all out. I recently took in my 13 year old Honda and Max made it come out looking like it just rolled off a new car lot. I was also impressed that he contacted me a couple days after the job to make sure I was happy with the work and if there was anything he needed to fix. I will definitely go back. read more

Max came to my office today and detailed my car inside and out. Very pleased with the result, it truly looks brand new. The price was comparable to other quotes I received, even slightly less, and the mobile service is super convenient. Very highly recommended! read more

I called for an appointment, wanting them to come to my house, since they are a mobile detailing business. I was told their automobile was currently immobile! So I agreed to go to their home shop. Not convenient, but I did agree. Made the appointment for a Monday. This was a few months back; just getting around to doing some reviews because of time off. Max texted me the Friday before to confirm. I had a ride set up. Monday morning came. Max called me and said that his boss (apparently at his REAL job) had called him in to work and he had to cancel my appointment, 30 minutes before I was supposed to be there. I explained that my ride was on his way and that I'd taken the morning off for the appointment. He said he was sorry. I said, "Sorry doesn't cut it." He agreed that just saying sorry wasn't good enough. I said, "You need to make this right. You think about it and I'll talk to you later. Right now, I have to get off the phone and try to catch my ride before he leaves his house." Max seemed to understand why I was upset. I thought I heard in his voice a strain of conscience and remorse. I truly thought I would get a call from him later, perhaps offering a discount to make up for the last-minute cancellation, perhaps an extra service thrown in for free for the inconvenience of having to reschedule. Apparently I am a bad judge of character, because I never heard from Max again. Max is now learning a lesson that could have been avoided had he stepped up and been the decent businessman I mistakenly credited him with being. I would not recommend this business to anyone. They could cancel your appointment at the last minute as well, offering you nothing more than a hollow apology. They may do a fantastic job, as evidenced by the other reviews, but you may not actually get the chance to find that out, even if you try. Bad business, Max, very bad business. read more

I do not live in the area and wanted to have my mom's car detailed as a Christmas present. I contacted Max and he gave me a quote and assured me they would drive to Fortuna to detail mom's car. Mom made the appointment and they were there at the appointed time. They spent a lot of time on the car and mom was ecstatic. She called and told me the car was like new. Very pleased with their service. read more

These two men worked non-stop all day, in the rain, in my driveway and garage, to restore my 'new' 2005 Sienna to its former glory. It really looks like a new vehicle now - I'm amazed. They are easy to communicate with when deciding options, sealer coats, etc., and they know their stuff. Best of all I didn't have to leave my van with them all day. They came to me. Five stars! read more
