A community cat that started coming to eat meals with the…read moreother community cats seemed to have a recurring eye infection that caused him to not be able to see! We caught him and took him to the vet in the summer to get his eyes looked at and also to get him neutered. Vet was very helpful in explaining what was going on with his inner eyelids and that this cat needed an eyelid surgery to stop the ongoing eye infections that basically made the cat act like a blind cat. This poor little guy also had a terrible skin infection that needed treatment for. The vets and the staff were very kind & helped me with the process of healing this poor little guy. Mike the Cat is his name, & after all month long journey of a successful journey of surgery, healing & the Great people working at the Waynedale Animal Clinic, this cat named Mike is living his best life! He also became my indoor cat. and I must also comment that the pricing for the care and surgery were very reasonable!

I lost my Evo on March 24th...just three days after his 12th birthday. He joined our family at 12…read moreweeks old, was there when my son started 1st grade, and he almost made it all the way to high school graduation next month. Evo was the first dog I could call my own, the English Bulldog I had dreamed of as a little girl, and 1000% my soul dog. When an aggressive mast cell tumor appeared in September 2023, we were told to expect six months with treatment. As a pup, I promised Evo I would never let him suffer, and that quality of life would always mean more to me than quantity. So, we decided to live our best lives with the time we had left. With lots of TLC and zero toxic chemicals, we enjoyed the six months they predicted... and then another 15 months after that! Once I accepted that saying goodbye was more likely than not, countless traumatic scenarios played out in my head. I have never truly feared or dreaded anything more in all my life. I refused to take Evo out of his home, where he felt safe and comfortable. We had arranged for a vet to come to us, but when the time came, they were unavailable. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise and we were able to connect with Dr. Quinn. All I wanted was for Evo to leave this world safe in my arms, with all the love and dignity he deserved. Dr. Quinn and Jessica went above and beyond to make our experience far more peaceful than I ever imagined. My heart broke when my best friend's stopped, but I'm so incredibly grateful we were able to give him the most perfect goodbye. When I think about Evo in the years to come, I know I'll remember the kindness, compassion, patience, and respect Dr. Quinn and Jessica showed us. Those amazing women have a rare, heartfelt empathy...the kind that makes me wish the world were full of more souls like theirs. I truly don't think I could have asked for anything better than the care they provided to Evo and our family. There are simply not enough words or THANK YOUs to express our appreciation. Tried to talk to the lady…read moreat the front desk to get ear medication that I have gotten 3 other times by calling the same way I did today and just wanted to send me to a voice mail and they would get back within 24 hours. In the past it took less then 5 mins from start to finish and my dogs ear wouldn't look like its fire. Obviously no compassion for an emergency medication pickup that should be as routine as getting up in the morning. very sad this is what this veterinary has come to because ot use to be better

After getting the run around for months from a very highly regarded clinic that's much closer to our house I started calling around. From the jump PVVC was the first place that didn't make me feel like getting someone on the phone was an inconvenience. My dudes ears were extremely infected. It wasn't enough to qualify for an emergency, but needed to be addressed quickly. They got him in the same day and treated him with so much kindness and care. It was great. We had our follow up today and was met with that same level of care. I'm not one who has a lot of triggers, but I was asked before his vaccinations if I needed to leave before they got out any needles. That meant a lot to me. They care about their humans as much as the pets. Even though it's out of the way, I will continue to support Pine Valley Veterinary Clinic because honestly, they provide a level of care I've barely recognized in hooman hospitals.
