The pictures really don't do justice to the beauty and grandeur of the huge spaces, which were completely transformed, which was good because our venue was not particularly attractive. It truly looked even better than what I could even dream of. These services don't come cheap, but Allison was very transparent with pricing of individual items, was willing to work with our budget, and saved us money wherever possible by reusing items between events. She threw in the most beautiful custom dance floor wrap for no extra charge for our reception, which was so appreciated! As a planner, Allison was so thoughtful and warm. With her in charge, we probably had the world's only on time Indian wedding. Allison's schedule was immaculate and I can't imagine how everything could have run as smoothly as it did without her behind the scenes calling vendors, directing traffic, and putting out fires. Her hard work allowed us to enjoy our big day that much more. Our only feedback would be that Allison put so much effort in that she was clearly stretched thin so we often felt like we had to go over the same details multiple times during the planning process and day of, some details (but not essential ones) were not executed the way we envisioned. I think this would happen in any situation where the lead decorator and coordinator of a 300 person event were the same person, so that is something to consider with bigger events. On the flip side, having the same person as planner and decorator made those two essential pieces that much more coordinated. 10 out of 10 would recommend, thank you Allison and team!!!

I have been a flower arranger for more than 30 years. I have showcased arrangements at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston three times (for their Art in Bloom fundraiser). To be honest, it is uncomfortable to write details about my experience; but to keep it short and to the point. Shannon just doesn't have what it takes to manage many moving parts. You can hire her to plan your kids birthday party, but by no means can she handle a wedding; and mine had under 150 guests. My other vendors had a hard time coordinating with her and appeared disgruntled towards her. understandably so. I've been wanting to go here for decades for their Third Friday events, but I've somehow never made it. So getting to attend an event there was a great way to finally see the space. They have their own parking lot, which is a huge plus because parking in this area can sometimes be a little hairy. Once you walk inside, it's a big, open space that is set up for banquets and events. They host weddings and other types of gatherings, and there was plenty of room for everyone. They had high cocktail tables as well as lower tables where you could actually sit, and everything felt nice and roomy. I was also impressed with the acoustics. There was someone speaking on a microphone, and there was no annoying feedback or echo. You could actually hear what everyone was saying, which can be surprisingly hard to find in a large event space. The food at our reception was mostly finger foods--hummus, ranch, salsa, chips, pita bread, vegetables, what looked like couscous, a small salad in a cup, and fruit. Nothing was particularly spectacular, but it was good, easy-to-eat food for an evening reception. Now, the homemade cherry Coke was another story. WOW. I haven't had one that good in a long time! I definitely wasn't expecting that to be one of my favorite parts of the evening, but it was amazing. There was also beautiful glass artwork throughout the space, which I'm assuming was made right there at the studio. The decor really adds to the atmosphere and makes the venue feel unique. If you're looking for an event venue that is different from the typical banquet hall and has something interesting for everyone, I would definitely check out Third Degree Glass Factory. I'm not sure what other food options they offer for events, but the space itself was very nice, felt safe, had great parking, and I loved all of the glass artwork and decor. It's the main attraction in the Delmar Maker District, according to them, "leading the neighborhood's mission to support and promote makers of all kinds." Tonight there is a glass blowing demonstration, drinks at the bar, a street full of food and makers booths, loads of glass pumpkins and other things to look at and purchase if you like! We are going home with a glass pumpkin... It's a fun place to be. I recommend it!
