Incredible food with beautiful presentation! The bagel with salmon has a very generous portion of salmon. The avocado toast comes with a bunch of toppings and a tasty salsa macha. We enjoyed both of our coffees. They play records for music. Staff was super friendly.

i really like this place! was trying to find a cafe that made fresh food as well as had a cozy feel to it. i loved the retro vibe with all the vinyls and them playing records out loud. i liked how they had traditional ceremonial matcha on the menu! they had lots of items to choose from. definitely would recommend this place for a good coffee and vibe.

Great little coffee shop near Condesa! We came by to grab a quick coffee and ordered a flat white with oat milk. The baristas were super friendly and we decided to stay for a bit. The coffee here comes with a Biscoff cookie which was such a nice little treat! The ambiance is cute and the coffee store also sells local art and handmade goods. There's several smaller tables inside as well as on the sidewalk and we saw a few people working inside. Definitely a great place to check out if you're in the area!

Me encanta el grílled cheese sandwich y el matcha. El lugar está súper bien conceptualizado y tienen una gran selección de vinilos. Amamos.

The pastries and service were delicious. While they do not have indoor seating, it was very pleasant to sit outside on the sidewalk and people-watch. We tried three different pastries: a plantain pudding pastry, a fruity meringue pastry, and a very unique peanut butter and chapulines cruffin. All were excellent. My only piece of constructive feedback is regarding the payment process. We had to pay for the pastries separately from the coffee, which made the experience less smooth. It would be much more convenient if everything could be paid for on a single check. Overall, it was a wonderful spot!

The service was attentive and friendly--occasionally a little slow, but that's part of the relaxed rhythm of being in Mexico. The outdoor seating is charming, surrounded by greenery and decorated with natural plants, which creates such a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. I especially enjoyed the Betty juice made with beets--it was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. The pastry selection feels endless, unlike anything I've experienced elsewhere in Mexico. During our visit, they were offering pan de muerto for Día de los Muertos, with a creative twist: a rich chocolate filling. It was outstanding! Overall, my friends and I had a wonderful experience here--delicious food, a beautiful setting, and a bakery that truly makes you want to come back again and again.

It's more of a grab-and-go spot than a sit-down café, with a selection that caters to specific dietary preferences like gluten-free, vegan, or low-sugar. We tried a few items to sample the range -- the strawberry empanada, some bread, and their wheat tortillas. The empanada had a mild flavor and wasn't overly sweet, which may be a plus for some but felt a bit underwhelming. The tortillas had a great texture but an unusual aftertaste that stood out. The other bread items we picked up were similarly neutral in flavor -- nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. Overall, Pan Gabriel seems to prioritize clean ingredients and health-conscious recipes, which is great if that's your focus. Just keep in mind that the taste and richness typical of more traditional baked goods might not be what you'll find here.

You're supposed to grab a tray and tongs then take what you want to the cashier. The place was so large that I didn't bother grabbing a tray because I just wanted to look at everything first. I ended up getting a corn muffin my friends grabbed a few things they didn't really know what they were, just grabbed what looked good. My corn muffin was ok., it was moist, dense, and had real pieces of corn in it. I tried some of my friend's raspberry baguette it was also pretty good. Dense baguette and tasty dried raspberry's and some nuts maybe walnuts? My other friend got some bread thing with sugar on top. It was a bit dry and not very buttery. I didn't care for that one. There was a whole gambit of baked goods to choose from, donuts, bread, cakes, pastries, even sandwiches. We tried asking what they were known for, no one seemed to know. So I guess there's no specialty. Prices were very reasonable around 15-22 pesos maybe some were more depending on what you chose. I found it to be a good Mexican bakery but not as refined as a French bakery. I guess you gotta find what's good and what you like. Unfortunately I didn't find that item yet.
