Over the course of this process I repeatedly followed up politely by email asking for updates or a timeline, but the situation was never resolved. Meanwhile, I had to seek care elsewhere and even pay out of pocket for emergency care through another provider. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. When she was taking my daughter's blood pressure, she left the cuff on for at least four minutes. My daughters had a face of pain and I could physically see her whole arm turning purple. She was cutting off her circulation for much longer than necessary. My daughter has a high pain tolerance and does not complain about taking blood pressure, ever. I spoke up for my daughter, and I asked the nurse to take off the cuff because she was cutting off my kids circulation! Her arm was pulsating and completely purple! I KNOW that is NOT supposed to happen when taking blood pressure in a regulars doctors office. She proceeded to get upset, she aggressively tore off the cuff from my daughters arm and stormed out of the room, saying "Ya'll are going to have to get somebody to do this." before slamming the door shut. This was absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. She could've injured my daughter for NO REASON. I will not be coming back here. From walk in , new patient paperwork, and being seen, we were in and out in an hour maybe less. I started off with Pediatric Associates for his first few newborn visits as he was still covered under my insurance for the first 30 days of birth, but once I received his insurance information in the mail this doctors office is who we were assigned to for our primary care. I actually really liked the office and the staff and will be coming back here. It's much nicer to be a patient and feel treated more like a human than a number as opposed to Pediatric Associates.
