They did not refund my money. I see reason to recommend this company. I'm glad there is another option in our community. Customer service reps proved to be dishonest. We went with the other option. Just say no to WM. Looks like Waste Connections will be taking over operations at Oracle Transfer Station in February based on recent Pinal County notice. I hope that is the case. They pick up the garbage. The time can vary week-to-week. Inconsistent. Rates vary for many in the community. Opened the door to competition recently. A lot of the community changed due to the high costs. Raised rates due to fuel costs. Did not lower when fuel costs went down. Guess we will be hearing about new rate increases as fuel costs rise again. At least we have an option now. Not terrible! Not great! They pick up the trash. Not the drivers fault that customer service is terrible when you call. Expect to be on the phone for at least 30 minutes. At least first 20 will be on hold.

I show him the ice maker which hadn't been working properly for several months. He says "there's ice stuck in there thats why it's not working". I say I know Captain Obvious thats why I called for it to be repaired. I explained to him the issues i was having and he doesn't even look at the ice maker and says we will order a new one. It takes a week and a half with no response and I have to call them for an update. Miraculously they say the picked up the new ice maker that day. I schedule a time for them to come out and the technician installs it and says it should make ice in about 3 hours....no luck doesn't work. I leave 4 text messages to the owner with no response. I finally call him and he says he will call me back to schedule a time to come look at it. 2 days later no response so i call him and he says "he's trying but they are really busy". Still no definite time given they will come to look at it. This goes on for several more days. I finally call warranty company to complain and they put in another claim...i confirm with the owner that they got the new claim and he would call to schedule an appointment. 3 more days pass and no communication. I called warranty company again and they reach the owner and he lies to them and tells them he "texted me but i never responded". I have since transferred the claim to another contractor. This company is beyond amateur hour. Zero organization and communication skills. If you like waiting for several days to get a response for subpar work they are the number 1 company to call!

As of January 25, 2026, my home still does not have a usable kitchen. This has created serious hardship for my household. My mother lives with me and is a disabled senior citizen who uses a walker. The unfinished kitchen leaves her with limited and unsafe space to move around, and we have been unable to properly prepare meals for months. While my family went without a kitchen for Thanksgiving and Christmas, Southwest Home Repair experienced no such hardship, despite having been paid in full. This situation has caused ongoing stress, inconvenience, and financial harm. I have contacted Southwest Home Repair numerous times. When they respond, they repeatedly state they will return "tomorrow" or "next Monday," but they never show up. They have also failed to provide any receipts, invoices, or documentation for the payment received, despite repeated requests. This project was handled as an insurance claim, and Southwest Home Repair stated the amount charged was necessary to complete all kitchen repairs. However, the work remains largely unfinished with no accountability or timeline for completion. So here we are over 2 years this place has no clear timeline of when they can finish a job. Yes I get it dishwasher, ovens and what not are easy stuff they should be good at that. But the big MAN blue collar jobs they can find people or the help to finish jobs. Lol what a joke place. The business recently relocated to 3225 E 36th Street in early December 2025. This location is bigger and makes it easier to get in and out of, especially for larger vehicles. For cans, simply drive up to the "Small Scale" in the corner and the employees will take your bags of cans and weigh them for you. You then get a chit which you take back to the office and then take the receipt with the QR code to the ATM for your money. So it's a three step process. I've been going to Desert Metals now for ten years and have always been treated well. When the ATM machine doesn't work, an employee will help me out. While this location is bigger, the ground is dirt. Heavy rains on New Years Day made the ground rather muddy when I got out to unpack my bags. The mud is my only complaint about this new location.
