It's decked out like a small convenience store from the second you walk in. We ordered our food at the cash register to eat at one of their tables outside. The cashier brought our sandwiches out about 10 minutes after ordering. I ordered the Turkey Caesar. It had turkey, shaved parmesan, marinated cherry tomato, house-made Caesar dressing, onion, and romaine lettuce in an 8" sandwich roll. It was a little pricey at $15, but it was worth the splurge. The dressing and parmesan cheese were unbelievable! Since this is in downtown Greensboro, there is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found street parking nearby. He's got big dreams, and ambition's; go big or stay home, just like me. First of all, the word "beer" in the front of the place should be in a huge font and have glowing lights, because boy do they have beer for a small mart. The owner has temperature controlled freezer's, and about fifty different micro brews available like he's situated in bustling Times Square. It's pretty sweet. I was looking at one end of the store at all the beers, and he enthusiastically pointed to the other side and said "look behind the chips, look behind the chips." He grabbed my hand and actually held it as he led me to this sacred area behind the chips. Sure enough there were ten more micro brews. This place is awesome. It's very progressive for this area, and can give any small mart in the country a run for it's money with it's variety of beers. The owner is a really nice guy and seems very committed to making sure you are happy, which let's face it, is a pretty rare gesture in this day and age. Typical convenience store layout, a bit dark, a bit chaotic with merchandise everywhere, and a small grill area just off the cash register area. 5 or 6 people standing around the counter area waiting for there food, mostly blue collards, but one suit was there. Ordered my 2 dogs with M, C, & O, and it only took a couple of minutes. Dogs were the expected small, red wiener kind, and the bun was steamed and a little "wrinkled", but everything was fresh tasting, and the chili was very nice, made the dog. Not much to look at here, but the dogs are worth a drive by. They have a small amount of outside seating, but this is pretty much a take away kind of place.

WARNING FOR WOMEN/PARENTS IN GREENSBORO…read more Please be careful around the Sheetz on Wendover 4319 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27407 Avenue and the TJ Maxx parking lot area. 4217 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27407 Today I experienced what I believe was a coordinated distraction scam involving multiple men and a women At Sheetz One woman approached me asking to use my phone to call for emergency/tow services while another distracted me during the interaction. While my attention was divided, unauthorized money was sent from my phone through my banking app/Zelle. The scam also involved a "Three Card Monte" style game where they encourage you to pick a card and claim they will double your money if you guess correctly. I did not participate in the game or allow them to give money to my child. After everything happened, I was informed this reportedly occurred multiple times today at Sheetz.Approaching women with children to play. Giving the children dollars What was especially alarming is that after the incident at Sheetz, the same group appeared to move to the TJ Maxx parking lot area and continued targeting other women. While there, another woman came up screaming and stated they had stolen $1,800 from her the week before. One individual was a Black male with dreads wearing multiple chains/jewelry. Another was a light-skinned male wearing a yellow worker-style safety vest. There was also a Caucasian male wearing blue shorts. Female Mexican skinny dark hair . They were seen leaving in a black sedan and a white van with the license plate WAH-- 1753 or 1810 The phone numbers used during the interaction were 336-925-3422 and 336-471-2370. They also appeared to spread themselves throughout the gas station near pumps 4-9 and pump 6. For confidential reasons, I cannot disclose all specifics involving my minor child, but I will say children were present during this interaction, which made the situation even more concerning. I truly tried to do the right thing by helping someone I believed was in need of emergency assistance, and this situation left a very sour taste in my mouth. Please do NOT hand strangers your unlocked phone, even if the story sounds urgent or believable. This was my fault . I also reported this to law enforcement, and I was informed this type of tactic is commonly associated with gambling/distraction scams. Also, to the woman who was screaming, recording, and saying she had also been scammed -- if you happen to be in this group, thank you so much for helping by recording and for calling the police. Shoutout to the Sheetz managers and TJ Maxx staff as well. Unfortunately Sheetz did not have security on duty during the daytime . Please stay alert, ladies, and keep your children close. I have already reported this to the appropriate agencies. Sharing this so other women and families stay safe.
