The nurses and aides we worked with were helpful and attentive to my spouses needs. A potential issue with transportation arose when my spouse was coming home. The Administrator herself stepped in to make sure her ride happened, even to the point of offering to ride with my spouse, if necessary (I had to drive my own vehicle home). It just exemplified a commitment to care and honoring the patient's wishes. We will definitely reach out to ArchCare again for our nursing facility needs.

There is no stimulation at all. Not sure what activities does but sit in the dining room. Have never seen them working with any resident. Dementia residents can be very difficult to deal with but this facility requires they to act perfectly. If they don't you are told the facility can't handle them. Very short staff; 3 staff for 35-40 residents.

Either we would fail to reach a human being, or if we did actually reach one, the call would be lost while they tried to transfer it. They apologized and constantly blamed a "new phone system that was glitching". Usually when a receptionist picked up a call, she was in a hurry to redirect our call which then fell into a black hole. No one would give us any information, not even a little bit. When we were able to communicate the one time with our loved one, she complained about being stuck in such a loathsome facility. Although we were refused any information, another relative who was also not on "The List" had access to all information just because she was local to the area. Incompetence seems to run rampant here. Please try at all costs to go with a different facility for anyone you care about.
