You walk through an outdoor entrance with black iron gates and the first thing you see at this bookstore is a bar! Ha. They have a cute outdoor patio seating area where you can eat, drink and read a book. There is an indoor cafe space and seating area as well. There are literally books EVERYWHERE!!! On the left side is an entrance to one side of the bookstore and on the right side is another entrance to the other side of the bookstore. Super organized with tall shelves of books, books and more books!!! f you walk past the bar outside and pass the outdoor patio area, there is another entrance in the middle to the indoor cafe with more seating. The indoor cafe entrance also connects to the bookstore inside too. We stopped by here during the day when we were walking around Coral Gables grabbing lunch and checking out the local museums. But we didn't have time to browse so we came back at night after dinner. At night, there's a bar/lounge vibe which is cool. They also had live music when we were there on a Saturday night. Beautiful bookstore set up and organization. They sell cute gift items too and the kids section is great! Love everything about this spot and I believe they have several other Books & Books locations. The Coral Gables location I think is the original and biggest one? Go check them out.

Whether it's a solo trip for a quick purchase or a meeting spot for a quick bite and leisurely stroll, they have everything you need and can cater to any in search of some good books without the secondhand hassle. The open courtyard at the entrance has a bar offering light lobster options and wine. The floor plan has a winding maze-like layout making your browsing experience much more interesting. They also host book signing events with local authors so checking their social media pages is a good way to sneak peak what's in store. They have something for every reader and even plenty of independent and local newspapers. The staff is very helpful and they're quick to help you find whatever material you're searching for. The prices are reasonable and there's plenty of categories to choose from. It's perfect to come here when you want a chill activity without the hustle and bustle. There are deals on the wine bottles during the week so check their calendar. I recommend this place over the conglomerate booksellers because they really support local business owners and their prices are extremely attractive for the range they offer.

Dear Miami Monthly Magazine,…read more I have been reading through your pages for a couple of years now, since I was a Grove Resident. I used to pick you up while walking my dog Fate, tossed on some neighbors lawn who would probably never read it anyhow. I instantly fell in love and knew I had to have more. I caught on to your schedule, and soon learned that they were sent to the residents the last Saturday of the month. I always made sure to walk Fate really early in the morning those days. :) I discovered many little tid-bits and goings-ons from your magazine and was just fascinated to learn so much about my very sexy city! Now I have the pleasure of receiving the magazine monthly at work. It's brought to our Residents in the condo and I always grab a copy. My favorite section by far is "city watch", which is where I pick up on all the tid-bits and goings-ons. You pick highlights of different neighborhoods and important things that may be happening there. It also lets readers know if there have been any important changes in city government in those different areas, things that city hall may want residents to know, etc. The magazine posts great articles about different political issues around town and is not afraid to expose those who do wrong. They also highlight "New Faces" around Miami, which are people who are doing things to make Miami a better place. Thank You Miami Monthly for providing great information about the happenings of Miami's entire metro area. You're doing a great job, so keep it up!!! Lots of Love, Sabrina*

There is not a lot of options in the Delta terminals in MIA (Terminals H and J) under normal circumstance, but it's worse in the mornings. Thankfully, after walking both terminals, I found Miami News Connection. The place had plenty of snacks. I called my mom and she asked for a soda and some Fig Newtons. The store does have magazines and books, if you need that. Bought my mom her snacks and went on my way.

It offers pretty much everything you could want in collectibles, comics, and more! A subscription service is available for those avid readers like myself and if you're into Funko Pops, their inventory is one of the largest in the county. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable in all things comics and pop culture. Need a back issue or a hard to find collectible, they can help you find it! With three locations, chances are, they have it. The not so good news - The store has limited parking on site, but fear not! There are several parking garages nearby and if you ride-share, it's easy to find! I highly recommend paying them a visit if you're an aficionado like myself.
