However, the staff was a bit abrupt and not friendly. I would never want to send my mother somewhere where I already feel the staff is not friendly Before we ever even arrive and they're trying to get you interested. The other thing is the outside. It's a very nice ground but there's really nothing to look at or see. There's a big retaining wall around the building and nothing going on.

Families and residents were misled about unsafe water conditions in the building. Despite knowing…read morethe water was contaminated, the facility continued preparing and serving food using that water. This put medically vulnerable residents at serious risk and showed a complete disregard for transparency and safety.

Our dear friend was stricken with ALS therefore needing a a ventilator and was unable to live at…read morehome. After being in two other facilities, she found her home in Hudson Springs Nursing and Rehab. The care that she was given and the companionship and compassion shown to her was remarkable. Our friend communicated via a device on which she typed with her eyes. This was a lengthy procedure and yet the staff was patient, friendly, and respectful as they waited for her to finish the conversation. The administration worked with us to meet all her needs. Our requests and suggestions were respected and addressed. Unfortunately, our friend passed away. We were with her for the last days of her life as we supported her transition. The staff went way beyond the call of duty supporting us yet giving us the space we needed at this delicate time. Even after her passing, they still showed her the same respect while they prepared her for her last journey. The knowledge that she ended her life in a place surrounded by staff who considered themselves part of her family and friends is a comfort to us.

I had to stop in here to pick some items up. I don't have anyone in here that needs actual care, but the kindness and welcoming Ness of the staff was amazing. My mom was there from 10/4 to 10/8 recovering from hip replacement surgery. I was appalled by the…read morelack of care that facility provided to their patients. When my mom arrived there, they sat her in a room for three hours and she couldn't even get a cup of water. I've never in my 52 years ever heard my mom cry, broke my heart. When I arrived yesterday to pick up my mom, there was an elderly woman in a wheelchair chair asking ME to help her. The woman at the front desk overheard and said the woman was waiting for her therapist. I was there for an hour and when we left the poor woman was STILL waiting. Sad

I acknowledge that I have a tendency to talk down my symptoms and I know what I need to discuss…read morewith my Doctors.
