Hey Yelpers, decided to try this place out and enjoyed the meal. We arrived early and found the place slow but about 15 minutes later though they became busy for a Sunday morning breakfast rush. Our waitress, Sharon was very friendly and kept up with keeping our drinks full. She took our order an about 10 minutes later our food was delivered piping hot. I had the stuffed hash browns and this was a great serving size. My wife had the ham and cheese omelette and added mushrooms and tomatoes. She wasn't able to eat it all. The cost was about $20 each with tip. So yes you can eat at a few places cheaper but can you get the good service. read more

Since we tried Waffle House, SO said we had to try Huddle House as well! Overall impression is that it's more similar to a Denny's in terms of huge menu. Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - ordered a 2 Eggs & Country Fried Steak, a Southern Style Benedict, and the free Waffle. The portions were quite generous and the butter inside the bread was quite a bit as well. The benedict was a bit disappointing as the hollandaise sauce was quite thick and didn't flow over the other ingredients well. The side of fruit was extremely sad with semi-dried mandarin orange pieces and apple slices that were turning brown. The waffles are a lot more crispy but definitely needed syrup and butter to help it along. Their syrup was a lot more sugar based rather than the richer molasses taste. Service: 4/5 - very friendly server but she was wasn't quite sure what came with our dish and surprised when we requested the Free Waffle Deal that was posted on their window. Ambiance: 5/5 - surprised at the number of tables in this small shop. Overall feels clean though! Value for price: 4/5 - food quality is dependent on what you get. Okay overall but would go to waffle house over this. read more

Decided to try out the new Huddle House this morning. Let's of parking on both sides of the building and even the back. Handicap parking is right up front, with many spaces. Bright and cheery decor. Two televisions in each corner, on different channels for variety was nice. The staff let us pick our table. When we arrived there were only a few customers around 9am but by the time we left the place was busy! Seems like before 9:30am might be an easy time to get in and out if you're in a hurry. Coffee was really good and only $1.99! I got the prime rib omelet with caramelized onions and mushroom. Comes with crispy hash browns or grits and choice of toast or biscuit. $10 I had the mushrooms and caramelized onions put on the side because I never really trust onions in a place like this... boy was I wrong! Caramelized onions were cooked to perfection!! The prime rib tips were a good portion & tender. Hash browns were very crispy like advertised. Biscuit was not an acceptable southern biscuit in my opinion.. for this reason is why I deducted a star. My mom got the Stuffed Hash Brown. She liked it, except the biscuit. The menu is extensive with a lot to choose from. They do have tangible menus. They also have the digital scan menu but the print is so little due to the size of the menu it's hard to read. read more

This place is clean and the staff is professional! The food was tasty!! The biscuits will melt in your mouth and the pancakes were so yummy especially the Oreo pancakes. Winter the cook handled it all. He was the only one back there cooking, filling DoorDash orders, and making sure everybody in the entire restaurant had their food in a timely manner. My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch on 09/06. We ordered an appetizer and meal. My boyfriend got the Huddle House Bacon Cheese Burger. The bacon on the burger was RAW!!! Please check your orders because he has now become sick. It was brought to our servers attention but they never offered to remake his food. The table next to ours sent back their little girls chicken strips because they were not cooked through. My order was okay, I mean how hard is it to screw up a southwest wrap. It wasn't hot, nor was it cold. It was room temp. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, and I know it was Labor Day, but come on... Sending out raw food is unacceptable especially pork and chicken products. Not sure if we will ever return. read more

Huddle House McMinnville, TN is our go to place on Sunday Mornings/Afternoons. We have been going since they opened. The 1st time we had a bad experience, I won't say who she was, she knows, because I recently told her. We (me and the person who came with me the 1st time) decided not to let one bad experience ruin the food we liked, because she is human and must have been having a bad day like all human beings do. Our 2nd time going there Winter Grace (Sam) has made us come back to this day and every Sunday since. A couple years ago we finally got to meet the manager, because he usually worked in the kitchen. Truthfully and I know he is going to read this, I once had to complain because as a professional I felt he needed to take an employee he was having issues with into the back and have his discussion, not where customers could hear him or at least lower his voice. After my complaint to corporate and him being notified, Roger has become a much better manager. Sorry, Roger I did that, but I knew you were stressed and you needed to take restaurant business with employees out of site/hearing of customers. Since that time you have gotten much more professional and much more polite towards employees and customers. I do have to say a couple more things. 1) Roger, Winter Grace, Ashley, and the cooks work with me because I am allergic to a lot of foods. Roger even learns from me about substituting turkey and chicken in place of beef and pork. I have AGS, it is food alleries from tick bits. Even to produce and food dyes. These guys have even made me a green bean plate while I was in the hospital because St. Thomas River Park did not have full meals I could have without something in it I was allergic to. When I do not show up, I get a plate sent home. Don't worry the person that goes and gets my food does pay for it. So, talk to your servers,let them know what is going on, and don't get an attitude with them. They know their job, get to know them. And if you as a customer are in a bad mood, go home, don't go somewhere and take it out on someone else because of something that is easy to fix can be fixed. Just to let you know, all these servers in this world will only cop attitude if you cop it 1st. It is their reaction to your vibe. People don't owe anyone in this world anything. I don't know any of the new servers or the dish washer, but the cooks, old servers and Roger, we know. We actually know Winter and Roger on a personal bases. read more

Went there today and wasn't happy at all. Half our food was over cooked. The bacon was over cooked to the point it was that nasty powdery texture. Waiter definitely didn't do her job. Waste of money and won't be back. I've been to huddle houses all over Georgia and Louisiana this is the worst location. Definitely recommend people go to chicken chef instead. I had to think long and hard about writing this review because of covid and I know business are struggling to find good help. Price to food not worth it. I been here several times regardless. Either it's way understaffed and you have to wait forever or they screw up your order completely as was the case the last 3 times I have been here. But this last one took the cake. I ordered a western omlet with no tomatoes (I'm allergic to them) and add sausage gravy. The first one we sent back because it had tomatoes all over them. The next one they gave me was the wrong omlet all together. When the right one finally came out my husband already had finished his meal. When we went to pay our bill the manager was supposed to comp us for the mess with my meal and did not. Needless to say we will not be returning. read more

Extremely poor customer service. Ordered online and substituted onions rings for fries with an upcharge. Within minutes of placing the order, they called to let me know they were out of onion rings. No problem. Except when I asked if they were going to refund the upcharge, the associate told me they couldn't do that. I would have to take care of that online (there's no place to do that online). I asked to speak to the manager, who said, "You really want a refund for $.79?" a) it was more than $.79 and b) yeah, I don't want to be charged for something I'm not receiving. It wasn't about the money, it was about the attitude. No apology, no offering to make it better (comp a drink, or SOMETHING!), not going back. read more
