I went to try the whole grilled chickens but was pleasantly surprised that they have so much more! In the front of the store is the cutest ice cream shop. Lots of sweet treats. In the back you have the grocery store with fresh produce, meats, fruits, and vegetables. The meat looked so fresh (no horse meat)! Then you have a section where you can order lunch or dinner (Mexican food). .99 cent tacos on Tuesdays by the way. They have a salsa, pico de gallo, and guacamole bar. All prepared differently. You just pick your choice. The guac and pico was so fresh and tasty. A++ A variety of Freshly made corn chips! Then they have an Agua Fresca bar with different flavored waters. Everything looked organized and well kept. Some of the employees I interacted with didn't speak much English, but that wasn't a problem at all everyone was still friendly, patient, and helpful. Now let's talk about these tacos! For $1?! You really can't beat it. I tried a few, but the carnitas were definitely my favorite--flavorful, tender, and I could've easily gone back for more. I also loved that they have a self-serve station with onions, cilantro, salsa, and lime, so you can dress your tacos exactly how you like them. Give me ALL the cilantro and lime! ‍ Of course I had to try the horchata and piña colada too. Both were tasty, although definitely on the sweeter side for me. I'd probably grab a smaller size next time, but I'm glad I tried them. Overall, this was a great first visit.
