Stopped here today to get some salt blocks for the cows. The people in the office were very friendly. Told them what I needed and they rang me right up. Transaction was super easy. I drove my truck to a loading bay and they loaded the salt block right up. If you're in the market for some salt, stop at Huck Salt and buy local. These guys are great! I'll be buying from them from now on. It's a little drive out but not too bad. It's worth the trip. read more

Established in 1938.

Family owned and operated since 1938. Elmer Huckaby started out with just a shovel and wheelbarrow and now our company has now grown to machines picking up 4 ton of salt per minute. We offer a variety of products: ice melt, road salt, agricultural salts, livestock nutrition, water conditioning products, salt for taxidermy, making ice cream and many more appications. Products manufactured by Huck Salt are 100% Amercican Made. We harvest our salt from a self-sustaining salt flat located in Fallon, NV.

Meet the Business Owner: John H.

John Huckaby is the son of Elmer Huckaby who started Huck Salt. John works along side his two boys; Tron and Troy and his grandsons Kovey, Conner and Kandon. We are going four generations strong.
