They are not very friendly when it comes to Customer Service. Ellen was rude and disrespectful to the point of hanging up on me when I asked to speak with Upper Management to file a formal customer complaint. When they did work some suspension work on my car more specifically and Allingment it was in such bad condition to the point of it pulling and almost caused an accident on the highway on my way to work. It was very scary to say the least. They asked me why I did not bring the car back to them and I said, " Why would I bring it back to you when the awful job you did caused my car to jerk and pull violently to the left and to the right so bringing it back to someone that did a poor job was out of the question so I went to Tire Barn and they told me that Hubcap Express LLC should not of even touched the car due to it needing new ball joints, control arms and new breaks as well as barinings in the suspension of my car. Tire Barn also told me it was going to be a hefty 5 thousand dollars. The car isn't even worth that kind of money. Hubcap Express LLC refused to refund my money for the poor alignment they did and on top of that refused to even acknowledge their fault in the matter. So much so that they refuse to negotiate with the mediator of the Attorney General's office making it look like I was wrong for bring it up to this level of a Customer Complaint do to Ellen refusing to let me spaeak with her Manager or file a formal customer complaint. I reached out to Mr. Tom Scherer through an unconventional way but none the less informing them Hubcap Express LLC that what they did was wrong and calling me names making fun of my Disabilities as a Brain Injury survivor by calling me ,"Special" in a derogatory way quoting their response to the Attorney General. They refuse to respond making their selves look like they did not wrong due to their power as an small business owner. They are highly, "NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE". I gave them my wheel to repair. I came back the next day and they gave me my wheel back and took my money. When o put the wheel on the balancer it wasn't repaired then they offered no solution Except my money back. Then tried to blame me saying I came back too fast. Horrible customer service! I was looking for a chrome center cap for my steel wheels and needed help finding one in the correct size. The middle aged man behind the counter (presumably the owner) was waiting on me and the second I told him what I was looking for, he barked "Type of car?" Once I said Subaru, he quickly said he wouldn't have anything. I asked, "what about one from a similar sized wheel? It doesn't have to be for a Subaru." He sighed loudly and said he'll get a book from the back. I didn't wait for him to return, I just walked out. Yes, what I was looking for was not common, but at least help the customer understand that their request is an odd one. Treat the customer with dignity and that you value the fact that they stopped by. I work in customer service and every customer - EVERY CUSTOMER - should be cherished. Horrible experience. Also I heard another customer being told they charge $50 or so just to put on his new tires. They are out to rip you off. They charge for replacements on defective parts. No such thing as a fully covered customer backed by what is to be a warranty when you purchase anything from any store given you come back during that warranties grace period. read more

Daughter hit a curb this morning. She was distraught, so I said I'd look after it. I called a couple of friends...they said, "Either a salvage yard or Hubcap Express." I called Hubcap Express, spoke with Tom. He indicated they had the rim in stock. I took the car in directly, and they installed the rim directly. Courteous service, fast turnaround, even on a busy day in the shop. I also picked up a wheelcover for my other daughter's car, at considerably less than the online cost. Have used them more than once for tires and alignments. Last set of tires were WAY over-torqued, I actually bent my wrench trying to get the lug nuts off when I had a flat. Had to have the truck towed to my mechanic just to get the tire removed. $85 later not even an apology from them much less anything like a voucher for my unnecessarily expensive hassle! If you buy tires from them you will not be able to get them off in the case of a flat tire, even if you are a he-man, you will break your tools trying. FAIR WARNING!! I stopped in Hubcap Express 2 weeks ago with a blown tire, I was in search of a used tire. After looking at my wheel, they explained to me why my tire kept going low and why it blew. With a little extra cost my wheel had to be re-coated. I use Hubcap Express whenever I need tires or have issues, they are always very helpful and have great customer service! This last time I was in I felt comfortable and that I was treated with excellent service! I will continue to use them and recommend them over any of the non locally owned tire places in town!! I have dealt with Hub Cap express since they opened. I purchase my tires and they are fair and honest and rotate and balance my tires as part of their service. They are one of just a handful of local businesses I refer to everyone because I know they will stand by their work. I recently had a tire blow out because I hit a huge pot hole. They were able to get me 80 percent back from manufacture because tire was just a few months old. read more

I recently purchased a new set of tires at a different store, which offered lifetime balance/rotation. However, after repeat visits, they were unable to balance them sufficiently to eliminate shimmying. I then contacted Hubcap Express for Road Force Balancing, which is more effective than other methods. The rep happily showed me the issues with my tires, and the Road Force Balance eliminated the shimmying for a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that they don't take appointments, which is less convenient with my schedule. read more
