However, their director, along with their Board of Directors, have some strange animosity toward the people of this village and town, and they want to close the only library that has a high rating, even by the people utilizing this website. Grossly exaggerating issues with the building, they now voted to close it and open another. The cost to open another is far more expensive than doing repairs to this building. I hope to goodness to "save the library" people fight them every step of the way. It's clear they want to sell the building to some rich developer... and harm the people of this town. Shame on PLYMC.

This library's book selection was amazing and the people there were very kind. Though, they were a bit ghetto. If I can remember correctly, there was a mother yanking her child away from the video games and said something along the lines of "Boy, i'm going to beat your [bad word] when we get home and i wont forget.". Other than that, my family and I had a delectable time here. 3 stars

After being there for a few minutes one of the employees comes up and starts yelling at me for parking next to it incase they needed to collect the dumpster after telling her sorry it was our first time visiting she continues to yell at me for parking there and that I should have parked in the front parking. She insisted we didn't need to move when I said oh I'll just leave then. She kepts saying oh with the littles you don't have to leave. Well you thought I needed to move 3 minutes ago when you started this conversation yelling at me in front of them. Maybe for the future the staff should put a no parking sign in that spot then. Myself and my kids left. The car ride home my daughter kept asking why we got yelled at and had to leave. I mean truly everyone wonders why libraries are dying and no one goes well maybe some kindness from employees would go along way. The whole thing could have been approached differently. I won't be visiting again, there's plenty of other libraries with easier parking and nicer staff in the area to visit.

However, my kids wanted to go and my 8-year old was able to get his own library card of which he was excited to get. Off we go, me and my three boys, we walk to the library. Yes, it is very, very close to my house. Once inside, I can tell a lot has changed for the better since my last visit many years ago. They have many computers to use for locating books or perusing the Internet. They have a fantastic kids room where they can read their reading level books, build puzzles, color, etc. They have several kid sized tables, chairs and bean bags for them to sit and enjoy whatever activity they are doing. Very neat and fun for the kids. I enjoyed watching my oldest son as he insisted in finding the books he wanted by himself. When he had trouble, he asked the assistants at the circulation desk instead of me because-he wanted to do it all by himself. So proud of my little guy. While he perused for books, my two younger boys played with puzzles and colored in the various coloring books. They each chose a book as well to bring home to read. This library is a great place to spend some time and great for the kids to have and keep an interest in reading. They also may kids reading programs throughout the year and having Story Time for the little ones once a week. We had a great time. An hour and half and 8-books checked out later, we were on our way home. It was a lot of fun.

Direct quote. There were crumbs on the ground and table. ***Clutching my pearls*** Mind you, we cleaned up everything we brought with us, we put every table and chair exactly where it was when we first entered the space. We wiped down the tables with what little cleaning supplies we had. We were not provided with a vacuum or even wipes, so I'm not sure how we could have cleaned crumbs from the floor. Rob then proceeded to say that he was charging a $25 cleaning fee that would need to be paid prior our next training. I used to use this library all the time, and I will never step foot into this shithole ever again due to the way that myself and my organization were treated by Rob Liste. Fuck this library.
