We called them on a Wednesday to come fix our kitchen outlets and set up an appointment for Friday at 2 pm. I spoke to Tyler. He was very professional over the phone, took down my name and number, set up the appointment and said he would be here with James (who he said was the owner). Perfect. Let me preface this with saying, based on their reviews, I was excited to meet them and see their workmanship because we just moved to the area and were looking for an electrician we could use moving forward for some bigger projects. Friday at 2 pm came and went. No call. No show. My husband is in the service industry, so I can understand how sometimes things come up and time gets away from you. However, when 4 pm came around, and nobody came or called, I made a call to see if they were still planning on showing up. Not only did I get sent to voicemail, I didn't receive a call back after leaving a message. To this day, still never heard back from them. We are really easy to work with and if they couldn't have made it, we would have totally understood but a phone call or text message at the very least would have been much appreciated. I planned my entire day around their schedule, cleaning off all my countertops so nothing was in their way, and did what I could in terms of making sure my infant had her naps earlier so she wasn't crying up a storm while they were here. Needless to say, if this is the way they conduct business, I'm happy we found someone else. I normally don't leave bad reviews but I had completely planned my entire day around them so it just irks me that they couldn't have even given the courtesy of a heads up.

G&T Electric was assigned to do work by the general contractor i hired to work on my home…read more From the start the owner of G&T electric GINA seemed rushed and always looking to get things done too quickly so she could run off to another job site. The running of wires in my attic was done very sloppy with wires not being secured and just laid every which way so she could get done quickly. I later found junction boxes in my attic with wires hanging out and no covers. When my remodel was finished the only call backs i had were for electrical problems. I had to call Gina and have her come back on four occasions because we would have lights go out, circuit breakers would trip multiple times etc. Always took several calls to reach Gina and then several days before she could come to fix problem. Eventually she stopped responding to my phone messages so i had to hire another Electrician to come out. This second company explained that my new microwave pulled too many amps for the circuit G&T Electric had run for that purpose. The wire gauge G&T ran to the microwave was also too small for a kitchen appliance. It cost me over $200 dollars to repair this one issue G&T caused. The second electrician i hired told me they have had quite a few follow up jobs to fix what G&T Electric did wrong. I would never use G&T again and would recommend nobody use them for anything.

I'd estimated this project was going to take a few days and that the first visit was going to give us the estimate and then we'd schedule out for the actual work - not so! Nick and Derek were able to get to it that same day, and it was all complete by the afternoon! I couldn't be happier! And they did a great job, explaining what needed to happen, cleaning up as they went along and being nice guys throughout. This couldn't have been an easy job as the cabinet was likely original to the house and up against a cement brick wall, but the end result looks very good and everything works beautifully! Nick even hooked up a new switch for the garbage disposal so we didn't have an extra cost from wiring up the new dishwasher - very much appreciated. All in all we are VERY pleased with the service, the craftsmanship and especially the cost which I though was reasonable. Before he left we even scheduled him to return and fix and outdoor plumbing issue that wasn't major but needed attention - something we wouldn't have known about if Nick hadn't pointed it out.
