They have grills outside that you are allowed to grill anything you want on. We didn't catch many shrimp, but the owner was gracious enough to give us way more than we caught to grill up. We also brought our own hot dogs and drinks and had a blast. This place is very similar to the urban shrimp fishing spots in Taiwan that I would frequent whenever I used to visit as a kid. I'm not sure.. We have to sign a waiver. And we had an hour to go fishing for shrimp. Besides shrimps, there are crab and crawfish in the makeshift pond. In case we were to catch anything they did have a grill outfront and had some spices and sauces for us to use on them. There is a bathroom on site. The pond area is indoors however there is no AC . We spend an hour fishing. We had a few close calls, but sadly did not catch anything. Their staff did offer us something afterwards but we were unable to take the offer as we had a prior commitment right after this. This was a nice experience, but you do have to understand that this is for experience not for a meal . And we went into this place knowing that. . Fishing for shrimp is very difficult. And , like fishing, you need a lot of patience.

You pay for 1 hour ride but since crazy employee is mad so they cut it short to 30 minutes but still charged you an hr . The owner will charge you for things on the ATVs that were already damaged previously there's no way to prove it was already there since you receive the ATVs already damaged and all dirty . All they care is about money and how to take more out of you . The owners there just didn't care how we were treated. They ruined our experience. The ride around was just dirt nothing else just did circles in the same area Nothing exciting. I never leave bad reviews , but this was unacceptable. I will never recommend it. Came in a group and we bought 1 hour. Came out to a little over $80. The staff was friendly and informative. The girl with the braces who work there had some cute lashes and let us know not to ride on the sidewalks. I agreed not to ride on the sidewalks but when I saw Club Island 1515, I rode on the side walk but don't tell the police ‍ lol. We got on our scooters and I was like Ooooooh THEY GOT A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER! My entire ride felt like the club. I had my Apple Music playlist on Go! I ride motorcycles so wind blowing on me is everything while in motion. Like it really means something to me. I was so looking forward to this. Now this was my first time and I didn't know what I was doing. My cousin crashed one time but eventually got the hang of it lol. I was a little rusty starting off but got it down pretty fast. I had no idea they can go that fast. It was like 25mph which SOUNDS slow but uhm... rest assured it was not. Pressing the gas all the way down too fast will send you souring quickly. We rode around downtown for about 45 minutes then made our way back to Glyders using GPS of course. I don't know my way around the downtown of any city. They gave us free margaritas when we got back! They really rocked my world! Once we turned in our scooters, WE DIDNT REMEMBER WHERE WE PARKED . Glyders has a ATV they gave us a lift to where "we thought" my car was. We got off the ATV only to discover we were lost in the middle of downtown Houston lmao. We walked around hopelessly and hot. Lol It became exhausting and stressful. We looked and looked and walked and walked. Finally I was like HOLD UP I didn't sign up for this! I called Glyders and told them I was at the corner of Travis and Bell. They pulled up on us and picked us back up lol. They were like where did you park? US: "uhmmm... it was like a square parking lot that said $10 parking and we parked on the side so we didn't have to pay $10" lmao. This describes every parking lot downtown hahahaha. I took a picture in my iPhone on the walk to Glyders after we parked and it had Fannin street on the sign in the pic. Parking $15 and Tickets $22-- at best, it will.take you 45 min to go through. That is not enough time to pop into the little "training" show that starts ups every 2 or 1.5 hours. But honestly, it wasn't too bad and I can totally see why people love it. We've spent a lot of time here this summer and have always enjoyed bringing our kids, but the atmosphere has noticeably declined to the point where it no longer feels welcoming or family-friendly. My daughter is 5 years old, and at one point she was simply standing next to me while I was with my younger child in the 3-and-under area. We were immediately told we needed to separate. I'm sorry, but I'm not comfortable forcing my children to split up when I'm actively supervising both of them. The interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and completely dismissive of basic parental judgment. The staff also suddenly became extremely strict about outside coffee, stating it wasn't allowed unless it came from the neighboring business. At the same time, I could clearly see multiple other guests with drinks from elsewhere that were not addressed at all. The inconsistency was glaring and made the enforcement feel arbitrary and unfair, as though certain families were being targeted while others were ignored. Overall, the staff came across as more interested in policing minor technicalities than actually creating a positive, welcoming environment for families. A children's play space should feel relaxed and accommodating, not like a place where parents are constantly monitored, corrected, or singled out over harmless situations. It's especially disappointing given how much we've enjoyed this place in the past, but after today's experience, the environment has become so unpleasant that we won't be returning.
