Non-residents can also become members at a slightly higher rate. The Orland Park Sportsplex doesn't have a pool (Lifetime does) but it does have an enclosed soccer field (Lifetime does not) for the many youth teams in the area. The Sportsplex also has three, side-by-side, full-sized basketball courts. Upstairs a nice amount of free weights are available, as are numerous cross-trainers and tread mills. There are certified trainers available for hire - to set up lessons and the like...and there are group sessions organized for many activities such as pilates and yoga. The center has a full set of locker rooms and showers for the members. Suspended around the basketball courts is a one-tenth of a mile walk/jog track. This track is available to Orland Park residents for free...just show an ID on the way in. So while it is primarily a membership activity center, residents have access to the track without membership. All-in-all the Sportsplex is a nice family center for the village.

It was the…read morefirst time for all of us to go through this experience at Radiant Life Holistic Wellness Center, and I loved it! Sound bowl therapy uses the calming vibrations of sound bowls to improve anxiety & tension, boost mood, work on our chakras, increase spiritual well-being and restore harmony to both the mind and body. Natalia was our sound bowl therapist and was calm, spiritual and enlightening. I can't wait to go back and do this again. Natalia also is a Reiki master. I've done Reiki before and loved that experience as well. It was interesting to hear Natalia's thoughts of what she felt was going on with each of us at the end of the session. Two of us had the energy of our loved ones with us during the session, and I was lucky enough that Natalia felt the energy of my dad. I was able to tune out everything around me and delve into the experience, but my friends said they heard people talking within the other parts of the studio, such as massages and other therapies in other rooms. One gal said she felt like getting up and going outside to tell the people to not make so much noise. Again, I was very into what Natalia was doing and focused that I heard nothing and wasn't bothered by any outside noise. Maybe it would be simply scheduling things at different times for complete silence, I don't know. It wasn't an issue for me. If you haven't taken part in a sound bowl meditation, it's a very relaxing and spiritual experience. I highly recommend Natalia for sound bowl meditation. I can't wait to go back for another sound bowl or Reiki experience.

Tracy was a wonderful, caring facilitator and I had such a great experience with my first visit that I'm excited to go back again. The facility itself is nestled in a small office park and the interior is so cozy and welcoming. As someone who lived in Southern California for many years and relocated back to Chicago a few years ago, I've been anxious to find places like this and I'm so glad I have! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back for more!

One of the most interesting features I have noticed is that her hands get HOT when she is working with me. I have been going through a lot of emotional turbulence lately. Twice I have found myself in a crisis situation and she has fit me in her schedule and worked around mine. I appreciated her being able to see me so suddenly. She also sends me useful information that is relevant to my situation outside of the healing sessions. She is warm and caring. She has a lot of self-awareness and I felt safe in her presence immediately. I had several deep, deep cries of trapped grief as she was working with me. Intuitively I knew that I needed to cry and release that stuck emotional pain.

I didn't think it was fair that one couple seemed to have treats on their towels, so many of the puppies kept going over there. However, the staff and volunteers from Second City Canine Rescue did their best to distribute the puppies so everyone could get equal play. The class time was 30 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes of puppy play. The only suggestion I would have is that perhaps they discourage people from bringing their own treats so more people get to play with the puppies. Maybe it's just me, but I just thought that was a selfish move anyway, to try and get the puppies to stay by one area. If you are looking to relax and enjoy yoga and puppy time, this is definitely a unique experience.

The therapist working…read morewith my child demonstrated a clear inability to navigate high-conflict co-parenting dynamics and missed key manipulative patterns that were directly impacting treatment. Despite repeated, polite requests for communication and collaboration, I received almost no meaningful updates for months. Only after escalating to the office manager did I receive any follow-up. The discharge documentation we were eventually provided was incomplete, inaccurately worded, and did not reflect the sessions. When I raised these concerns professionally and asked for clarification, the owners responded by deflecting, offering no acknowledgment, and abruptly escalating the situation by stating it would be handled through their attorney -- though no legal contact was provided. The lack of accountability, transparency, and professionalism from both the clinician and leadership is deeply disappointing. For parents navigating high-conflict or sensitive co-parenting situations, I would strongly caution against this provider. Balanced communication, discernment, and ethical handling are essential in those cases, and that was not our experience here. Our clinician was Linda Smith.
