Worst Junk removal company out there Plus they don't know how to drive I seen that they almost crashed into a few people this morning

This is one of the WORST experiences I have ever had. HSDO turned a very challenging situation (my father's hoarding for 20 + years) into a HORROR SHOW. Let me begin with some facts. They showed up at my father's property on Friday, 5/19/23 at approximately 10am. I had planned this job for over a month with HSDO head guy, Jayson Andino, the biggest CON-ARTIST you will ever encounter. Virtually every single thing he stated was a LIE: he said they had "seen it all", that there is "no job they cannot handle", that they had a ton of experience with "hoarders" (since, as he stated, his own father was a hoarder and so he has first hand experience with this kind of job), that hoarding was in fact their "specialty". This could not be farther from the truth. I have witnesses who were there and asking me: "where did you find these guys, they look like they have no clue, they do not know what they are doing, they are scared of bugs/rodents/flies and are clearly ill at ease performing this job. You will NOT get this done in the time frame you need it done. This is going to be impossible." Jayson Andino willfully and grossly misled me from the very beginning: I am a woman, I was tackling this alone, and was in an extremely vulnerable situation, as a result. I was traumatized. Jayson and his crew added to that by re-traumatizing me. They turned this unfortunate and profoundly sad situation into a NIGHTMARE. It was HELL. I was in HELL as a result of their sheer incompetence. The night before, on 5/18, Jayson was supposed to call me to let me know IF the crew can show up earlier than 10am. Having received no call, I called him from the airport (it was about 7pm). He stated that he "could not remember why he needed to call me". He clearly forgot who I was. And this after weeks of planning this job. Jayson's crew of TWO men -- only ONE of whom was willing to work as it turned out -- showed up and said they "do not do this kind of job". That is what the "lead guy" Hiro, said to me as soon as he arrived. The one guy who was willing to work finally began --- approximately 3 hours AFTER the initial start time (at 11am-- the door had to be removed and HSDO said they could "not handle this" so I had to call the fire department / police to do this). When the door was removed (at approx. 11am) I called on HSDO to begin the job. At that time, they were no longer on the property -- they were "on their way" to HOME DEPOT to get what they did NOT have to do the job: they finally showed up with gear they did not use. Jayson said they would "scoop" up all the garbage. Well, guess what? They had nothing to scoop it up with. They had to BORROW tools from a neighbor in the building. Please, please be advised: HSDO is woefully UNPREPARED and UNQUALIFIED to do *any* junk removal job: hoarders' homes / apartments OR any other type of serious clean up job. If you want to avoid wasting your money and your time then go elsewhere. As a result of their sheer incompetence, I had to hire -- LAST MINUTE -- a different company who did indeed get the job done. That said, given it was last minute and given how desperate I was (I had three days MAX in which to do this before my father could return to his home, I could not keep him away longer and I had to return to a full time job in NY) it cost me an enormous amount of money : I had to spend 5K on a job I had budgeted for no more than 1,200 -- based on Jayson's estimation: in his own words, "worst case scenario this will take 2 dumpsters" (each dumpster is 600$). He repeated this again and again throughout the time I spoke to him. I told him to make absolutely sure to prepare for and to expect the worst case scenario. I told him that the apartment was likely infested with all kinds of roaches, rodents, etc. Jayson said "no worries, they will get the job done". He even gave me the contact of his pest control person, Anthony, whom I immediately called and with whom I set up an appointment. Jayson then said that he had "no idea" that it would be "this bad". He was totally UNprepared. Given my warnings and my clear-cut advice, Jayson knew EXACTLY what to expect. I was very honest and very detailed about what he should expect: I explained the exact size of the apartment and told him to expect the absolute worst case scenario, garbage from floor to ceiling. I repeatedly said that this would be the "worst case scenario". He denied any of this. Again, lying through his teeth in order to cover up for the fact that his company CANNOT handle any kind of job -- unless it entails removing a few pieces of junk from a pristine residence. That is NOT what he was told to expect. Like I said, this guy is NOT to be trusted. I was alone, a female, and vulnerable. Jayson Andino took FULL ADVANTAGE of this fact. In the end, as I said above, I had to hire another company, I had to do so LAST MINUTE. If you hire them, be prepared to do the same. read more

When i tell you how accommodating they are! I was awaiting delivery of furniture and the original times provided did not work. I asked about Monday and even tho they were booked solid the entire day at 7:30pm (arrived early! ) i was pleasantly greeted and my junk taken away within minutes.
