The branch isn't as modern as one would expect as it is a modern mall but basically falls into the average look and feel of a Halifax store, albeit a little smaller. The opening hours are quite useful being open until 18:30 daily, only shutting on Sunday's but this is common for 99% of banks in the UK. There is a small amount of seating, but it isn't the most comfortable or relaxing seating, but it still is one of the better places in the mall perhaps to sit down and relax for a moment, connecting onto the reasonable free-wifi, perhaps to do some online banking, yelping and everything in-between. Location, free-wifi (common for every bank), long opening hours and cash machines make this location "A-OK", a three-star rating is warranted mainly for ease and location.

The bank was refurbished about 6 years ago to give it a more modern appearance, its generally quieter than the Staines location but the service is inconsistent depending on who you get at the till, some staff are more helpful than others. It will be interesting to see which is the last bank left in Ashford with Nat West holding on for now.

Loads of parking outside. Really handy, close to town but so much calmer. Staff are really friendly and unlike town branches seem much less hurried. Check the opening hours before you go though - I'm not sure, but think they may shut a bit earlier than many banks.

I spoke with the attendant and she told me that I had all of the correct documents except that one needed to be in color (although the requirement Ol for a color copy is unique to this bank as I opened an account without a color copy at another bank). I asked if I could use the bank's computer to print out a color copy and she said no. She told me to go find a public library to use. I left and walked 5 minutes to another bank where they immediately set up an account.

This location in Fulham Broadway is pretty cool, the staff were friendly and attentive and printed my new card in-store, I only had to wait for a couple of minutes. I love how if you lose or have a problem with your card, you can come into store and get a new one, compared to other high street banks that make you wait for days. I was even able to leave, get a few things from Sainsbury's and come back. The store is normally open until 8 pm but as of the time of writing (September 2021), they are still on reduced hours, closing at 6 pm. I do also dislike how like all Metro Bank locations, they lack indoor cash machines, this can often mean the experience of paying in and withdrawing money is quicker, but the staff are friendly and happy to help, as quick as possible. 4* - Friendly service, the bank looked pretty good too, lacking some features but still all in all a good place to bank. The music is very mixed up, the Djs at Lloyds can play anything from Disco to Dancehall...its a good crazy bar.
