I kept applying to the same types of jobs because I didn't know what else I could do. The coaching I received helped me to figure out the type of work that would really suit me. It made me realize how marketable I really was and that I do have plenty of options (that I didn't know about before). I learnt how to talk to employers about my strengths. Now after the coaching, I really feel really confident in interviews. One thing I did not expect (but looking back, I am very grateful for) was learning some easy and manageable ways to deal with stress when things got rough in my workplace. In fact, it was only when I lowered my own stress about work, that things began to get clearer about my future and what I needed to do to succeed. Looking back, I'm not sure how far I could have gone if I hadn't done it this way. The coaching at Careers by Design was highly effective and I recommend them to anyone struggling with a career problem. I checked out various companies before deciding to try out Careers by Design. I'm so glad that I chose them because they gave me personal attention and really cared about my success. It was one of the best decisions I have made for my career!
