DealGetters ran a deal for Hire Coach a couple months ago. It was $19 for a resume building session…read moreworth $350 of services. The limitation says on the voucher "Limit of 5 per person and unlimited as gifts". I bought 2 vouchers for $19 each for 2 resume building sessions. The first session was smooth but, I was by no means impressed with what Lia Demos, President of Hire Coach, did with my resume. All she did was rearrange the format of my resume which I could have done myself AND saved myself the $19 and my time. After this, Iias, the Operations Manager, booked me in again for my second resume building session. I called more than once, on time for my session and no one was there to take my call. I just figured, no big deal I'll just reschedule. When I called back I was told that they are no longer honoring 5 vouchers per person. They are now doing a limit of 1 voucher per person because the president decided to change the limitations. The voucher clearly states "Limit of 5 per person and unlimited as gifts". When I asked what brought on this rather convenient change the response that I got from Ilias was the following: "You know what, I thought that this was the case too but I'm not the owner and I don't make the decisions but, I will ask again to see what I can do for you". He got back to me to let me know that they were not going to honor what they were selling in the first place. The number of loop holes and poor excuses I got from Lia Demos to try to convince me otherwise was off the charts unethical and utterly ridiculous. Not to mention the highly disgusting, wrong and strong attitude I got a full dose of. Long story short, they realized that they bit off more than they could chew with this deal and now they are feeling the wrath of this over whelming response. Hence, they were poorly equipped to handle the business that was coming their way from the beginning. The inferior quality executive decisions of the president of this company along with her delusional excuses and unprofessional response, has led me to write this review to share with the public, the very poor and unethical actions taken to "resolve" this issue. Please do not expect much or anything at all for that matter from Hire Coach. Take your business else where. He assisted with key words that I should put on applications that could potentially catch employers eye. He gave me interviewing tips (before and after) and way to properly negotiate the highest salary based on my experience and worth. He also provided some options for personal development and improving my overall net worth, while I'm waiting. He referred me to location that could potentially assist in providing that needed development. He has great contacts and I was able to learn a lot from Brian. He is also attentive and listened as well as made himself available when it was best for me.
