The lack of communication between staff, combined with unfulfilled promises, has made operating my business here exceedingly difficult. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for assistance, I have been met with indifference, and on several occasions, I've felt that my concerns were treated as a nuisance. It seems that the priority is staff enjoyment of their holidays, rather than addressing the critical issues affecting tenants like myself. This disregard for the needs of business owners is disheartening and jeopardizes my business's reputation. I have been in business for 14 years and maintain a 5-star rating. However, the ongoing problems with building access are putting that reputation at risk through no fault of my own. It is incredibly frustrating to feel that my concerns as a business owner are not being taken seriously. Before signing my lease, I made it clear that I work nights, weekends, and holidays. Despite this, when I arrived at the building on January 1, 2025, prepared to serve my clients, I found that my key card still does not grant me access to my suite. This issue has been ongoing for two weeks, and despite repeated attempts to resolve it, I still cannot access the building or serve my clients. What is particularly alarming is the complete lack of response from staff. I have reached out via text, email, and phone with no reply. I have not been provided with a clear after-hours procedure to address emergencies like this, leaving me with no recourse in urgent situations. The building's expansive app is also malfunctioning. I understand that the company is closed today, but someone should have been designated to be on-call for emergencies. If I am unable to service my clients today, they will not be able to work tomorrow due to the OSHA-compliant certifications I provide. OSHA standards do not allow them to work without these certifications. These certifications are critical for their careers, and failing to deliver them today could have serious consequences for their livelihoods. While I have received several apologies from staff, apologies alone are insufficient without tangible action. A sincere apology is only demonstrated through a swift resolution of the issue at hand. Until the problem is fixed, further apologies feel disingenuous and unhelpful. I have been patient, but my patience has now run out. Each time I receive assistance, it is because I have had to take time out of my busy day, with year-end deadlines, to contact Expansive. I do not understand what they expect me to do in this situation. If the door on this level is not functioning, simply unlocking it with a key would be a reasonable suggestion. Why is there a need to prop the door open with a chair? Unlocking it would allow tenants to access the building until the issue is resolved. I am sure some may be upset about my writing this review, but this is only because I have consistently asked for help without receiving adequate assistance. I typically handle such matters maturely and do not write reviews. I am requesting immediate action to resolve the issue with my key card. I would also appreciate direct contact from the owner of Expansive to address these concerns, as it seems no one else cares. Please be advised that I will update my Google review once this issue is resolved. Until then, I would advise potential tenants to reconsider renting from Expansive--especially those who require access to the building during non-traditional hours. I am not the only tenant experiencing this issue; another tenant I spoke with yesterday, who moved in just a week ago, is facing the same access problems. This issue is clearly systemic, and I believe it requires action from the third-party company responsible for maintaining the building's security system. Attached is a photo of the communication from Dec 31, 2024, showing staff was informed about the key card issue. Instead of addressing the problem, they left to enjoy their New Year's Eve holiday. He called me, "Sir", repeatedly until he found out that I was a woman. His tone changed to a condescending one. I bothered my CPA to have my schedule E done early, only for the manager to demand a lease and claim that it was invalid (it was not, I checked with my lawyer)! Basically, he had my 2017, 2018 and 2019 taxes, my bank info, but did not WANT to give me a loan. Hopefully he won't accidentally send my information to someone else like he did sending his other clients information to me! This man has a chip on his shoulder and obviously doesn't respect women, even when they are qualified! I would stay as far away from this lender as possible!

I watched it ACTUALLY happen to a neighbor in the suite next to me who needed to go off to college. He didn't give them 2 months notice and they auto renewed his lease charged his credit card weekly for 52 weeks knowing he wasn't there changed his locks so he couldn't get his equipment out. He was under 24 yo. And even when you give them years of loyalty they still treat you as a stranger. I brought an issue of them not following up with me when pipes froze so I could inform clients I had scheduled in a timely manner. I missed out on over $300 that day. Instead of apologizing after the issue was resolved days later, the managers stopped speaking to me. I'd see them almost daily and smile only for him or her to look the other direction as if I didn't exist. The only good thing they did for me was allow me to stay the last 5 months without a contract since I was moving out of the state. I do appreciate that. However my overall experience w them want good. Felt very transactional and uncaring. For me, I like to know the $1000 I'm giving to help feed someone's family is appreciated and not taken for granted. Even the stylists are unfriendly. Only one of them actually made a connection w me the entire 4 years. It's not a place for black people who want to feel you're part of a community. If that's not important to you than this is your place. Now after reading this if they see if, they may make some much needed changes to how they do business and create a more inclusive culture and community. Good luck w that. I found out from the client she'd leased a suite and I had to ask for my referral fee. I have the texts still for those who may need receipts. My salon suite I leased prior to Ovation the owner was stellar!! We had monthly catering for all stylists and our clients, a free bar for clients stocked with top shelf liquor, every holiday season for Thanksgiving and Christmas a huge buffet was catered for stylists and their clients on that day. We had monthly meetings where the owner shared his success secrets and networking experience sharing his contacts, he shared our work on his Instagram page. It's really felt like family. The ONLY reason I left was because I moved from Arlington to Dallas. If you're a minority specifically black person check out BUFFORD SALON SUITES IN ARLINGTON TX. The owners name is Brandon Bufford and he will take very good care of you. You won't have to worry about him getting upset if you bring maintenance issues to his attention. This Regus location is conveniently located in Watters Creek shopping center (at Bethany and I-75)…read more It was a little challenging finding the actual offices as they are not easily identified in the jungle of retail stores and restaurants. Regus and other companies are located on the second floor of one of the buildings on this campus, and are accessed from the parking garage side (not the retail front). Parking is convenient in the garage, but appears to get congested when I leave around 6:00 pm (Cheesecake Factory patrons park here). The office hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. I tend to work past when the reception closes. I just need to make sure that I use the restrooms or have everything with me before they lock the front doors. The actual space is nice, and spacious. I explored the office space a little more this last time, and there are plenty of empty offices for rent. They have a limited number of shared offices (about $40 per day). I usually get a single day office (about $80 per day). There is free wifi and use of their phone in the office. There are limited supplies but there is a copy room that one can use. The coffee and tea are complimentary. I really like this location. The staff is friendly. The location is convenient, and there are plenty of distractions around if you need a break.

If you needed an office or conference room, you could certainly hold it here. I have no idea what the price is for the space. It seems they are missing out on an opportunity to get this information to people visiting. It seems like they should have a large price board advertising this or at the very least require groups meeting here to mention this. In all fairness, they did have a reception area at the front that ai breezed past because it was so early. No one was staffing the area at 7am. This place had a very casual, playful, and informal feel to it. I could imagine renting it out for other group meetings and events. They seem to have all of the basics covered.

They do not take responsibility for anything, including returning deposits as written in the Lease Agreement. The reps (Shannon and Kylan) refuse to let tenants talk directly with the CEO when there's an issue. The top management may very well be aware of the problem and do nothing about. It trickles down from there. Most recent issue is getting back our initial deposit. Lease Agreement states it will be returned within 60 days of the end of the lease term. That has not happened. Have inquired several times and get excuses that accounting is backed up. Then a real smart middle manager (Kylan) tried to re-state the Agreement in non-sensible language and absolutely stupid terms that do not exist anywhere. She should be fired immediately for that BS. May take a lawsuit to resolve this issue. Lucid Private Offices have been dishonest and unethical in our experience.
