Our dogs went to their kennels as they always did. When we returned home, two hours later we opened the door to a house completely filled with smoke. We had an electrical fire which resulted in the loss of most of our personal belongings and our two beautiful dogs, leaving our beautiful "dream house" in shambles. I tell you all of this because I want it known that your company did so much more then providing property repair. My wife and I found ourselves lost and overwhelmed. I truly had no idea what to do. A couple of days after the fire I had found a flyer from your company on the door of the house. I subsequently met with Chris Barnett who not only outlined what your company could provide, he showed compassion, understanding and patience. This took such a weight off of us and gave us a direction when it had appeared that all was loss. Chris was outstanding guiding us along through every step. Then Chris did the greatest thing. He provided Ray Hernandez as the superintendent for our home's repair. Ray is truly amazing! He is knowledgeable, detail oriented and hands on. Ray's attitude is always positive, caring and friendly. I have not only seen him at the house many times, he often has a tool in his hand helping with the repairs. He truly leads by example with impeccable work ethic. It always makes me feel good after talking with Ray. He keeps me in the loop and always shows compassion and understanding. I am truly grateful for all of this. Now that the house has been completed, we are finally home and the house is more beautiful than before! You can be very proud of your company. Mostly you can be very proud of Chris and Ray. I contacted Kyle to ask if there was any possibility the water could have come In Through the roof. He said he would get back to me. Later that morning I contacted the power company to request inspection of the electric meter. Before I heard a response from the power company, Mark from Honest Abe texted me to tell me he was 90 minutes away and was coming to inspect the roof. I told him we could wait until I found out if the meter had a gap that could've let the water in from the side of the house, but he said he wanted to come and check it out and make sure everything was in order. He didn't have to do this, but he came and inspected the roof which was as expected fine. He did find, a nearly half-inch gap around the electric meter, which is where the water came in during the storms. Mark went to the local hardware store bought a sealant, came back and sealed the area around the meter and checked the inside circuit box to make sure that the water was minimal and it was safe. None of this had anything to do with the roof and yet he insisted that it was an easy fix And resolved the problem. This is a quality company who provide a quality service more importantly, if there's even a question about whether there might've been a problem with the roof stand installed, they sent their technician out immediately, and the gentleman solved an unrelated problem. Hired this company because we were experiencing leaks in 2 areas of our roof. Called Honest Abe and…read morespoke to Vee who is the owner. Vee sent Kyle out and we hired them the same day. Vee and Kyle performed a 16 point inspection and confirmed a roof replacement was best. Roof replacement happened October 2022. The same month we advised our roof was leaking in the same areas prior to roof replacement. Honest Abe came out to "repair" issue. They came out over 10-13 times to fix this issue since October 2022 - UNRESOLVED!!! Let's fast forward to May 2023 "We Are Still Experiencing SAME Leaks" after a whole roof replacement. Are we as home owners upset, ABSOLUTELY!!! We paid $50,000 / Honest Abe received their money - WHY CANT WE GET A NON LEAKING ROOF???? The 1st picture is as of May 2023 - can visibly see roof deteriorating because of leaking!!! OH WE HAVE A GUARANTEE FROM HONEST ABE. They stopped trying to resolve the issue! They given up! No more GUARANTEE!!

Ocean Roofing is AWFUL. Do not use this company. They re-roofed my house prior to me purchasing it…read more I bought the home thinking I had a brand new roof and would be set for quite some time. I was completely wrong. I experienced a leak in the roof. Called Joe Western from Ocean Roofing to come out and fix the leak and he was impossible to get a hold of. I finally called another roofing company who promptly answered my call and came out and fixed the problem. This roofing company informed me that the work done on my roof by OCEAN Roofing was not up to code and they were shocked it passed inspection. Shingles were not laid out properly with the spacing needed to specification, the underlayment is visible at certain seams due to shingles not being laid out properly, and many other issues. I called Joe about this and he finally agreed to come out and look at my roof and told me that the other roofing company was lying and that shingles are supposed to sag because it is "hot" in Florida. I have now involved the county inspector who has come out and agreed that the roof should have never passed inspection. The county inspector was able to get ahold of Joe and the inspector and Joe met at my house to look at the roof. After this meeting, Joe agreed to make the fixes to my roof. It's been over a month since then and Joe continues to give myself and the county inspector the run around. He tells us he will come by on a certain date and never shows up. Absolutely awful company and person! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR CONTRACTOR THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER.
