I took a leap of faith from the reviews on Yelp and can't be happier that I decided to go with…read morethem--and so is my husband. We needed our master bathroom completely gutted and refinished (bad water damage from a busted pipe) and while my other half and I are usually up for doing it... we ran out of steam halfway through gutting because there is just so much other stuff in our lives at this time that we needed help. Like everyone else said, clean, efficient, price is more than reasonable, work is absolutely solid, and gives amazing recommendations when I ask about their opinion on aesthetics. Usually on time or early, if plans change they let me know way ahead of time. They also care about the longevity of their work (an example would be coming to me and letting me know I should buy a metal hose rather than use the one provided with the washer/dryer unit.) They started last Monday and had the rough done by that Thursday during which time they started the tile work--anyone whose done any DIY construction knows the rough takes the longest and they were able to start the finish work that same week. No one tried to upsell me on anything, or recommend work I didn't need done unless I specifically asked/requested. It was all about what my vision of what I wished the bathroom to look like and that is really important to me. My husband took one look at everything they did so far (he's a perfectionist, to put it lightly) and was extremely impressed--he had quite a bit of anxiety about not being able to finish it ourselves but it put him at ease when he saw the skill and care they put into making it our (my) dream bathroom. The workmanship is excellent, and they are meticulous about doing it right. Because of this, I also contacted them to work on another property I have in Queens, and again, the price of which was reasonable and since I trust their work, it was a no brainer to go with them again.

Jeff is a…read moreknowledgeable web designer & website designer who was patient, courteous, & very helpful throughout the entire process. He answered all my questions clearly and never made me feel rushed or talked down too. I needed a small business website & Jeff handled everything from design to setup. He was responsive, detail-oriented, and easy to reach whenever I had a question or wanted to make a change. He also took care of several extra updates and adjustments without charging me anything additional, which I truly appreciated. If you're looking for a reliable web designer on Long Island who is professional, honest, and genuinely helpful, I would definitely recommend Long Island Affordable Web Design.

My entire experience with Derek and the team at TopNotch has been outstanding. We interviewed…read moreseveral web developers before making a final decision, however, something felt "right" about my many conversations with Derek--and I'm glad I listened to my gut. When we started the project, he took the time to precisely dissect not only what we were looking for aesthetically, but also what we "needed" on the practical side--all while staying within our budget. Their communication is beyond excellent and Derek is just a pleasure to speak with. We spoke on a scheduled weekly basis, and I can't tell you how important those calls are to stay on-target. I've worked with other non-local developers in the past and it was a nightmare (between communication issues, false promises, poor design, etc.). My goal was to go local with this project and TopNotch has been a dream. I also like the fact that he's not a "yes man". He actually listens to what I'm looking for and makes suggestions accordingly. Our conversations are always constructive and collaborative. I feel like we're a team, not that I'm just paying someone to make my website. I would absolutely use them again in a heartbeat if I were to do it all over. They've gone above and beyond and I couldn't be happier. In fact, we have several more projects we're looking to tackle within the next year or so, and plan on using TopNotch Dezigns. I'm so excited our vision has come to life for our website, but at the same time also sad that our weekly calls with Derek have come to an end. I felt he's become both a colleague and friend. Thanks so much. Derek! You and your team of wonderful talent are truly amazing. Cheers! Check out how our site came out! =) www.mfmbankers.com

What should've taken a few months ended up taking 6 months and a ton of headaches. I temporarily lost access to my sites, the transfers did not go smoothly and I lost email functionality. When I asked them to fix the email functionality they claimed that it wasn't their fault but they could "diagnose the problem" at a rate of $65 an hour. When the website was complete they then tried to upsell me on their "security protection services" in case my site got hacked. Seriously? There are much better designers and developers out there. We found them on Groupon and figured it was worth it to try them as we needed our condo cleaned before our wedding and we figured we'd treat ourselves. They were pretty flexible with booking but that's where it ended. They texted me to let me know that they were going to be late so I had to let me husband know as I was at work and that altered his schedule for the day. They did an okay job cleaning but didn't do anything spectacular and did not do the windows or blinds or anything like that. It's not like they ran out of time, they were done over a half hour early and our condo is less than 1,000 square feet. Fast forward to a day later and I went to get my baby blue rayban sunglasses and they were missing. It's not like they could have confused them for theirs, the sunglasses were very specific. I tore my house apart thinking maybe I put them somewhere else besides where I put them everyday but they were gone. Also, the Michael Kors tie I bought for my husband as part of his wedding present was also missing. I tried calling them as soon as I noticed but no one answered or called back. A tried calling a couple of times after that but with the same results. As you would guess, I never used this company again and have found a different cleaning company to use. I make sure to tell everyone I speak with not to use them either. Still angry a year and a half later.

I was in a tough spot... I have worked as a facilities coordinator for over 15 years for hotels…read moreand dorms, (about 5 years too many). To say that I know cleaning and proper cleaning by professionals is an understatement. So, when the first company told me they would bring 4 people and would use a buffer machine as we agreed I was happy to pay more. However, my cameras showed two people being dropped off by a 3rd while being tossed some bleach and some basic supplies... I was disappointed. 20 minutes after they arrived, living now 15 hours away, I asked them to leave. I was in a tough spot and needed the place cleaned soon and well. It needed to go on the market asap. After calling 8 companies nearest to me in Central Islip and leaving 5 messages (3 were full) I spoke to Yoohome. I will edit this with his name one day. But he was professional, courteous, and reassuring. and some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. Also, I have trained hundreds of people on customer service and active listening. The service was $450, which was 150 less than what the other company wanted to charge. They sent two people (no buffer machine but I was over it.) and they did a great job. My cousin who lives nearby checked the place out and some small spots or areas were missed in the basement. I sent them some pics, they sent their guys back with no problem, they hit those areas and poof. My anxiety and stress melted away. They were very friendly, relaxed, and informative. Keep in mind that when I called them about the missed areas and spoke with them. I was friendly, and courteous and treated them like humans. They asked me to email them the pictures and provide any details about those areas in the email which I did. We worked with them on when they could come back and they took care of those areas. What more can you ask for than to get what you paid for plus great customer service?

Recently, I wanted to hire them again and booked a deep cleaning service through their website. The website charged my credit card and everything was scheduled. However, NO ONE SHOWED UP to do the cleaning! I called them an hour after the scheduled time, but no one picked up the phone. I've been calling and emailing them since then with no response.
