When we moved to the area over 10 years ago, he immediately earned our trust by taking such tender, thoughtful care of our senior pets. When it came time to say goodbye to them, the compassion and empathy he and his staff showed us will stay with us forever. Last year, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our 2 1/2 year old Doberman. Dr. McMillan once again went above and beyond, guiding us with care, taking time with us, and helping us through the grief. To this day, they still talk about him. That kind of connection and remembrance is something you cannot put a price on. Dr. McMillan is not just a vet. He is a caregiver who truly knows his patients and their humans. He remembers names, answers every question without rushing, calls personally with updates, and ensures we are always prepared, especially when traveling with our pets. For him, it is never about the money. It is about the life, comfort, and longevity of the animals he treats. There are plenty of veterinarians closer to where we live, but we gladly drive over 35 minutes each way to see Dr. McMillan. We simply would not trust our pets with anyone else. We are so thankful for him and his amazing team.

On a previous review I saw a complaint about a receptionist. I actually had the same thing happened to me once there. But only once several years ago. Since then, everyone that works there is so sweet and kind, every time I take one of our kitties in.

    VET TEAM IS GREAT THIS MESSAGE IS ABOUT ONE OF THEIR RECEPTIONISTS AND MY EXPERIENCE TRYING TO GET…read moreMY ANIMALS HELP FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY ADULT LIFE. only because of one of their receptionists is very rude, has an attitude and very short with replies when speaking to customers and callers who are looking for a vet ... honestly she kind of comes off arrogant and somewhat argumentative when you ask about things you'd ask about your pet....First experience was terrible on my end because I had this woman as my receptionist on the phone and I was very distraught over my cats getting tapeworms again after I thought I'd gotten rid of them I was scared for the health of my babies and this lady was just rude as can be when I was just wanting to know my rate and prices for how much I was going to have to pay to get my pets fixed and taken care of, she just made the whole situation, phone call whatever just terrible. I balled my eyes out after getting off the phone with her. Other than that the actual people who helped my babies were absolutely amazing and wonderful towards me and came with no rudeness whatsoever when I had questions to ask!.... so thank you to the vet team that works in the back for helping my pets get better! but no thank you to the receptionist Michelle, you made my day so much harder after getting off the phone with you and I see now you act the same way a month later because my roommate WHO NEVER SAYS ANYTHING!!! said you were so rude and that also you don't "sigh" to customers on the phone.
