I called with a small railing job and had Dave out to take a look. The whole time they treated me like it was a top job for them and when they gave me the estimate I was floored, it was way less than I expected. I waited to write this review until they came back with the finished product and installed it because to be honest I was nervous at what I would get for the price. Well they installed it today (several weeks ahead of schedule) and the quality is outstanding. The railing looks great and the installation made it rock solid. I'm having them back in a few weeks to do another project for me as I finish out my basement, I can't recommend these folks enough!

Their cozy showroom is packed with great options and I appreciated the specialized attention and guidance I received in addition to the quality of products available. As oppose to bigger stores and pro shops, they want to understand the project and help you pick out the best possible options. The manager spent quality time with me and I was surprised to find that their pricing was competitive with similar quality at other stores. The difference is that they only carry lines they believe are high quality. The flooring arrived quickly and looks great. I would use them again!

So why then, am I being charged for a quote which took all of 10 minutes?? The guy kept talking about nothing, and did not even have his tools with him when he performed the quote. And, if I had been told there would be a charge, then I would NOT have proceeded with this company. Switch and bait tactics. LIES. Let me say this company lies on the regular. They told me they would come out one day and waited all day and never showed up. Call back again to see where they were and the guy comes by and is here for 10 minutes and is billing me for $190 "service call". There was no service, we asked for a quote (which they said was free) and we had to call them multiple times for the quote. Them not showing up or even calling to say they were going to be late should have been the first red flag. When we told the guy what we wanted he just kept going on and on about it, so basically running up his time. Horrible business practices and dishonest. No, do not use this company for anything. If they lie and try to steal such a small amount, imagine what they will do for any sizeable job. Lies, lies and lies. I will be contacting the BBB and possibly the tv stations about their dishonesty. Trash.

Just had such an horrible experience with this company(specifically the owner Wes Arabie) and its…read moreshady business practices. Called them on Friday to come out to replace my commercial door closer(arm that retracts the door) the tech (Mike) did a great job. He replaced the part and readjusted the door (physically took the entire door off and put it back on) However later that night when we went to close up, the lock (cylinder) for the door (which was just replaced back in March might I add) wouldn't turn over. Called the door company back, because we had no issues with the lock prior to the door arm being replaced. The tech comes out and tells me the door cylinder is bad. I tell them not possible because we just had it replaced a few months ago and it wasn't giving us ANY PROBLEMS prior to the door arm replacement. He then says they have charge me an additional $161 to replace the $20 cylinder. I reached out to the locksmith company and explained what I was being told, and that I refused that recommendation from the tech and contacted the company back to explain why that was not going to be satisfactory since we never had any issues with the lock only the door closing, and they sent out the owner (Wes) Wes arrives and inspects the door, After a few minutes, At this point Wes tells me that they longer need to replace the original cylinder and that it's working perfectly fine, that they just needed to put some WD-40 on it, even though the tech was adamant that it needed to be replaced because he stated it "went bad" I contacted the original locksmith company that replaced that part on a three way call and he (original locksmith) stated to tech that it's no way the cylinder was bad, because it had just been replaced and we weren't having any issues with it prior to Friday. The tech then said let me contact my boss back to get a price for you for the replacement cylinder part. I expressed my confusion about the back and forth and questionable business practices they were using, and instead of apologizing for the confusion, Wes spoke to me in the most disrespectful, insulting and degrading way. Word for word, he stated that if I didn't like the job they did, he couldn't care less if called another company, because he's been in business over 40 years, without a blemish on his record to the BBB, so do whatever I need to do. A few more disrespectful words were spoken, and I was so taken aback by how this man was speaking to me, that I quickly ended the conversation and simply said thanks for your time and that this was unacceptable and that it wasn't personal it was business, and I no longer wish to speak with you, have a good day, and walked inside of my shop and closed the door. Now this not the behavior I would have expected from a fellow small business owner in our local community and I am extremely disappointed to say the least. I hope that by me sharing my story, I can prevent him from treating anyone else the way he treated me and the way he spoke to me today. The tech even called my business afterwards to apologize because of how the owner treated me. I am a small black woman owned business, for over 15 years and didn't deserve to be handled in such a disgusting and disrespectful way.
