And she was laughing! Are you freaking kidding me?!? This is a funeral! You should not have scheduled two services so close together that you would need to kick people out that quickly. And IF it was unpreventable, how about you take some interpersonal communication and customer service trainings. They treated us, and my father's memory, with the utmost respect and tact. Upon visiting the funeral home, it was what you would expect from a funeral home - immaculately clean, tasteful yet serious decor; we were greeted at the door by two very compassionate, professional and sympathetic men. We were able to take our time and talk among ourselves as a family. They even had a large, comfortable couch where my mother and I, and my mother's best friend, could sit together so we could hug and hold her hands while we discussed the funeral options. We did not feel at all rushed, and the thing that stood out the most was that they did not take advantage of our grief, they did not try to sell us any services that we didn't need. The urn that my mother liked was actually one of their cheaper ones (a simple lacquered wooden cube) and they did not try to sell us anything more expensive.
