He came as stated and described everything I needed to replace (my heating/air unit is 17 years old) picked up the parts and replaced same day. Unfortunately, something else reared it's ugly head but he came back, ordered and replaced the induction thingy and voila! We are in business. Brandon answered all my questions. He is professional but personable. The price for parts and labor seemed fair and was lower than my imagination had conjured in my brain. Would highly recommend!

The night before we were scheduled to leave town for 5 days, our heating system started making a…read morehorrible racket. Of course this is December, and of course it's supposed to freeze the following week. I immediately started looking for a heating and air company that had good ratings and one of the first to pop up was Larry's Heating and Cooling. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to get someone scheduled to come out the same afternoon. The technician, David, called when he was on his way. He arrived on time, was extremely personable and professional. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes and took the time to show me what the issue was and how it needed to be repaired. Because he needed to come back with a part to get things fixed and the weather was going to cooperate, we scheduled for a week later when we returned from our trip. The day he said he'd be back, he showed up as scheduled and in a couple hours he fixed our unit. Temps dropped below freezing the next day, but our heat worked perfectly so we didn't care. David did a great job! Great team, very competitive pricing; highly recommended. It's who we will call in the future if needed in the future for certain!

They installed a new coil in my indoor unit in Aug 2022 for $2k+, wasn't cooling and had lost gas…read morein April 2024. They did a service call and said my coil was leaking, sent an estimate for full unit replacement only about a week later after I chased them and asked for a warranty repair - they said no warranty after 12 months. Got a second opinion, the SKILLED and HONEST other technician from a different company went to the attic, 15 minutes later said the coil wasn't leaking, but there was a plastic cap that wasn't tight and had oil residue on it - they replaced and tightened the cap, refilled the gas and everything is fixed for a fraction of the price of a new unit. This is my experience with Larry's heating & air, why I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone else. I gave them an opportunity to explain to me what happened and why the problem was misdiagnosed, but haven't heard back from them.

Saturday morning, as my husband and I were cleaning the house in anticipation of four friends…read morecoming to stay the weekend with us, our downstairs air conditioning unit stopped working. It shut off and wouldn't turn back on again. We called Nest and they helped us figure out that there was no power getting to the thermostat--either on purpose or there was a fuse blown somewhere. So there we were, expecting company in a mere couple of hours, with no air conditioning. On a 90-degree Saturday. A holiday weekend. Hooray. I called the company who had installed our units, but nobody answered. Then I did a quick Yelp search but nobody had rated any HVAC companies, so I turned to Google Maps instead. Several people had rated Reliable Heating & Air Conditioning well on there, so we decided to give it a shot. We called, an answering service took our information, and a few minutes later a guy named Eddie called and said he could be there in 20 minutes. There was an after-hours charge, but we knew there would be and it wasn't outrageous so we told him to come on over. He showed up about 20 minutes later and went down into the basement to see what was up. He quickly realized that what we thought was an unrelated issue--water filling up the overflow pan under the pump--was actually what caused the unit to shut off. The lines were filled with gunk so the pump wasn't working correctly, and when the water got high enough the unit shut itself off for safety reasons. He cleaned out the lines, took the pump apart and cleaned it, sucked up all the water in the pan and then put everything back together again. In less than an hour he had our air conditioning back on and told us how to make sure that didn't happen again. (The unit is less than a year old but apparently this is a very common issue.) Eddie was polite, quick and knew all about the Nest--we had taken it all apart when we thought it was the issue, and he put it all back together without batting an eye. Although Reliable isn't the company who installed our HVACs, they're definitely going to get our business going forward.

We contacted him and he gave us a few suggestions to try but also said had no idea what to do and he said he was sick and couldn't come out for us to contact the company who made the hot water heater. So we have been left to deal with the problem he should have dealt with. After paying almost $2200.00 for installation, I feel he should have been a little more concerned with the fact that a family has no hot water. If you're going to be in business you should take care of your customers especially when the problem arises in less than a week of installation. We have a different company coming out to handle the issue today.

Once, an aged wire disintegrated, it was not caught during a maintenance visit - I had to pay them to fix. Last year, within about 1 month of their maintenance service visit, the capacitor went out - - -( it was not caught during the service.) I had to pay them 195 dollars to come out and replace it. ( I checked the capacitors are $14.00 online.) I had a maintenance visit on 10/29/2025 - TODAY I woke up to no heat - so I reached out to another company because at this point I DO NOT TRUST Dalton Heating and Air - Come to find out that the Schrader valve has leaked out 8 pounds of refrigerant . . . $$$$$$$ to replace it! When I reached out to James W, (I have had several conversations with him, and he has ALWAYS been short and rude), he advised that it could have been caused by a technician putting gauges on and off the unit. Then he repeatedly asked me WHO I had working on my unit. . . . . For the service I have received from Dalton Heating and Air vs the constant paying more for this and this and this. (Because it has not been caught during maintenance THAT I PAY FOR) In my opinion They ARE NOT worth cost.

Jack quoted me four brands of heat pump, advised their credit agreement, and impressed me with his knowledge. (I spent 5 years helping my former husband with HVAC, including some technical training, so while much has modernized, the basics remain the same.) Rhett called to advise me they were on their way, and the removal of my old, poorly functioning, heat pump and installation of the new one were done quickly and obviously well since my home is again at a temp of 72 degrees in spite of outside temp of 37 degrees. When Rhett first started the system, the temp rose 6 degrees in about 15 minutes. I'm very grateful, because I struggled with an indoor temp between 60 and 66 during our coldest outdoor temps and power bills between $225 and $600, amounts far higher than ever in my entire life. Thank you, Air Heat.
