Patty, Pats wife, answered the phone and Pat and Mike come out that day to help us get going again. Long story short, we needed a new unit. They just installed a new York unit for us today which is much quieter and most importantly, keeping us cool. I would not hesitate to call them again for any heating and air needs. Of course this is December, and of course it's supposed to freeze the following week. I immediately started looking for a heating and air company that had good ratings and one of the first to pop up was Larry's Heating and Cooling. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to get someone scheduled to come out the same afternoon. The technician, David, called when he was on his way. He arrived on time, was extremely personable and professional. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes and took the time to show me what the issue was and how it needed to be repaired. Because he needed to come back with a part to get things fixed and the weather was going to cooperate, we scheduled for a week later when we returned from our trip. The day he said he'd be back, he showed up as scheduled and in a couple hours he fixed our unit. Temps dropped below freezing the next day, but our heat worked perfectly so we didn't care. David did a great job! Great team, very competitive pricing; highly recommended. It's who we will call in the future if needed in the future for certain!

They did a service call and said my coil was leaking, sent an estimate for full unit replacement only about a week later after I chased them and asked for a warranty repair - they said no warranty after 12 months. Got a second opinion, the SKILLED and HONEST other technician from a different company went to the attic, 15 minutes later said the coil wasn't leaking, but there was a plastic cap that wasn't tight and had oil residue on it - they replaced and tightened the cap, refilled the gas and everything is fixed for a fraction of the price of a new unit. This is my experience with Larry's heating & air, why I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone else. I gave them an opportunity to explain to me what happened and why the problem was misdiagnosed, but haven't heard back from them.

He was pleasant and very knowledgeable and fixed my problem in two visits. I love working with people who know their craft. He explained to me the exact problem and solved the whole issue immediately. Bill had all of the diagnostic equipment to ensure the unit was operating effectively and efficiently. I was very impressed. I had another Signal Mountain provider first assist me with my A/C unit and they sent some very inexperienced people to add too much Freon to the unit so that it could have caused a complete breakdown. Additionally, I called for them to come out on a different issue they fixed. However, they had to come back a second time for an issue I believe they caused while fixing the first. I spent too much money dealing with inexperienced people from this other company. I would go directly to Superior Air Systems

I was skeptical despite home inspection since previous owners had been less than honest, replacing new stack W/D with an old worn out one ( suit filed) But I digress...the young Tech from Stan's arrived on time. He was thorough and helpful. He gave good comments on why performance was what it is and made helpful suggestions to get the best from the system. He spent lots of time both inspecting and reviewing his findings. I'm now a preferred client; they will be back next Spring and come running if needed in the meantime. Stan's is just as excellent as described. I would recommend them for reliable, honest, economical service.

Once, an aged wire disintegrated, it was not caught during a maintenance visit - I had to pay them to fix. Last year, within about 1 month of their maintenance service visit, the capacitor went out - - -( it was not caught during the service.) I had to pay them 195 dollars to come out and replace it. ( I checked the capacitors are $14.00 online.) I had a maintenance visit on 10/29/2025 - TODAY I woke up to no heat - so I reached out to another company because at this point I DO NOT TRUST Dalton Heating and Air - Come to find out that the Schrader valve has leaked out 8 pounds of refrigerant . . . $$$$$$$ to replace it! When I reached out to James W, (I have had several conversations with him, and he has ALWAYS been short and rude), he advised that it could have been caused by a technician putting gauges on and off the unit. Then he repeatedly asked me WHO I had working on my unit. . . . . For the service I have received from Dalton Heating and Air vs the constant paying more for this and this and this. (Because it has not been caught during maintenance THAT I PAY FOR) In my opinion They ARE NOT worth cost.
