Jack quoted me four brands of heat pump, advised their credit agreement, and impressed me with his knowledge. (I spent 5 years helping my former husband with HVAC, including some technical training, so while much has modernized, the basics remain the same.) Rhett called to advise me they were on their way, and the removal of my old, poorly functioning, heat pump and installation of the new one were done quickly and obviously well since my home is again at a temp of 72 degrees in spite of outside temp of 37 degrees. When Rhett first started the system, the temp rose 6 degrees in about 15 minutes. I'm very grateful, because I struggled with an indoor temp between 60 and 66 during our coldest outdoor temps and power bills between $225 and $600, amounts far higher than ever in my entire life. I had been without AC for 2 hot days over the weekend and was so anxious about finding an HVAC company that is honest and professional as I am fairly new to this area. As it turns out I was very lucky. I ended up needing a new AC unit - mine was 20 years old and had several issues. The technicians that came out were courteous, explained everything thoroughly, and showed me various reasonable options/brands, or possibly replacing parts instead of replacing system. They gave me a portable AC to get me through and then, 2 days later, the new HVAC was installed and is working beautifully. The installation team arrived early and on time, kept me informed throughout, showed me the finished product, told me everything I needed to know to operate and maintain it. There was not one wrong step from start to finish. I feel so good about this company and I like knowing they will be there for me in the future.
