My previous doctor had done her residency and later worked with Dr. Thakor, he came highly recommended. Dr. Thakor is such a nice guy, easy to talk to, and a great listener. Unlike other physicians I never feel rushed. He always allows me to put my two cents in regarding my treatment and he respects my opinion. His office is great about following up on test results too. They are doing tests before stating that I need surgery and looking closely at my ears. So I tried for weeks to cancel the surgery with Alpine that had already been scheduled. I could not get a surgery scheduler to call me back so I could cancel. I left messages with different departments. When someone called me back finally, they immediately sent me to surgery scheduling after I explained what I needed. No one answered so I left another message. Days later after no one last message, I called the main number, it was answered finally. the man was going to transfer me to surgery scheduling, I begged him not to and to let me talk to someone else. He looked me up and said I was already cancelled. This was the verification I needed. It would have been nice to know this weeks ago. My concern has always been that they would say I never cancelled and then proceed to charge me for that. I finally got verification 8 days before the surgery had been scheduled. I had also left my contact info on Alpine's online forms as if to set up a new patient appointment. They called me back very quickly, while I was writing this review. I explained everything to her and she apologized. I've let my PCP and Nuerologist know about this and they say they will never refer their patients to them again. If anyone I ever hear who needs an ENT, I will definitely tell them where not to go!
