Stopped by How Crispy and was really impressed. The chicken sandwich was delicious--crisely, flavorful, and satisfying. Prices were very affordable, which made it even better. Shout-out to Will, who was so friendly and welcoming. His hospitality honestly elevated the whole experience. Will definitely be back!

Another Diners Drive inns and Dives visit for me. These places are normally great. How crispy is far beyond great it's mind blowing game changing amazing!!! The sandwiches are tremendous. You can choose white or dark meat which is a nice touch. It's not just a sandwich it's an event. Crispy, sticky, unkcious, chewy, moist, crunchy, gooey, and satisfying. PRO TIP... sit close to the napkin dispenser. This is a life changing experience!!!! The gentleman behind the counter was a prince. He Sheparded me through the process and even gave me some parking advice. The joint is poppy and clever. Decor is interesting and really fun. There's plenty of seating inside there's counter space and outside there's a patio with funky club music playing and lots of things to see. You must come here just make sure you are ready for a giant delicious unique treat.

Dope little sandwich spot! I had the lemon pepper wet chicken sandwich with white meat (they ask dark or white which is a nice option). It was more of a buffalo sauce and didn't have much lemon pepper. Comes with ranch but I think if they added blue cheese or crumbles that would add a nice touch to the sauce combo. Chicken was super thick and juicy. Yucca fries were interesting. I enjoyed them but almost felt like they were dehydrated then fried? Almost a little to dried out. Would probably go with the regular fries next time. Overall a very good chicken sandwich but not really one that stands out from the others. They have a few other options that sound great. The house sauce and their honey garlic was amazing. Would recommend if you are in the area!

The honey boi sandwich was superb. I liked how they asked if we wanted white or dark meat. Not a lot of chicken sandwich places have this option. The chicken (dark meat is the way to go) was oh so juicy and tender. Each bite was messy with the garlic honey butter sauce. The smokey lime mayo also didn't help. Just have some napkins handy. And with each hearty chicken bite, the sesame slaw and sweet pickles provided nice flavor and texture contrasts. They make this sucker when you order so it won't be an immediate turnaround. But when you do get it, it will be pipping hot. The interior had some seats, but there were also outdoor seats with a good amount under the covered patio.

How Crispy Express was good. Their service was fast. We sat outside. They had a nice patio. Also their bathroom was pretty, especially the ceiling. We had the classic sandwich and the honey boi sandwich. It was good. We also both got sweet tea. The sweet tea was good too. It was a nice local restaurant.

The chicken sandwiches are delicious! I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the lemon pepper sandwich. The chicken was delicious and very juicy. I also ordered the bread pudding which was also delicious. I will definitely visit this place again.

A cute little spot, the staff greeted me with a smile and the food was up really quickly. The chicken themed play on fast food is a nice spot in an area I never stopped at before but definitely will come back. It's beside a bbq place and bar Food: The chicken nuggets: they looked home made, definitely not frozen. They're cut and seasons in house and fried fresh. They remind me of home made food YuckA fries: they were super crispy but a few were super oily and gave me slightly a stomach ace

We ate at How Crispy tonight for the special collaboration with Ticonderoga Club. The Speedie Boi sandwich was delicious, as expected. We also ordered the Chili Lime Chicken wings and they were fantastic as well. The patio was perfect on a fall night and the fans kept a breeze blowing. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently on point. If you haven't been to How Crispy, you are missing out.

I've been slowly making my way through Summerhill and How Crispy was next on my list! It's been hard to try because they close so early but luckily was able to come for a weeknight dinner! It's always a little tricky to find parking in Summerhill but there's a few lots and street parking nearby. It's fast casual, so we ordered at the counter and then found a seat in the outside patio. I got the lemon pepper wet sandwich, a soda, and a side of yucca fries to share with a friend. The food came out super fast which was awesome and I loved that the owner came around to check on us! The sandwich was phenomenal and I loved the sauce and how tangy it was! I was surprised at the size of the sides. My friend got mac n cheese which was a super small portion, and I got only a few yucca fries, which while big and seasoned really well, felt odd. Overall, great experience and food!

So excited to finally have tried this place!! It closes so early so it's a struggle to get here. It's fast casual and a small space but they have a great space to sit outside. I got the lemon pepper wet sandwich with mac and cheese and a drink by making it a combo. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes which was great! Overall, this sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. A stunning sandwich truly. My one complaint is I'm not the sure the price of the sides are worth the sides. They felt small. We didn't let that ruin anything though because overall the meal was great!!

Came for dinner and how crispy did not disappoint. The service was very friendly as well. We got two orders of the lemon pepper wet one wet dark meat and one with white. The chicken was so flavorful and crispy. For it being a wet sandwich, it was still crispy. The slaw and pickles were a good addition to the sandwich as well. I really enjoyed the lemon pepper flavor as it wasn't too overpowering but still had a good peppery finish to it. The fries here were good as well! Well seasoned and their ranch was also delicious. Overall, loved this spot and will definitely be back for the lemon pepper wet!!

I've been wanting to try How Crispy for the longest time and was super happy to find out they now serve white chicken meat. It's counter service so so we ordered at the counter and we picked up our food once ready. We opted to sit outside while waiting for our food. They had a nice covered area for outdoor dining, though they did have some stools for indoor dining as well. I got the daily special with white meat (to be honest forgot what it's called) and my husband got the lemon pepper wet sandwich. My sandwich was super crispy thought a bit dry because it's white meat. The isla seasoning was nice and paired well with the tangy kimchi. My husband's sandwich was also very good, but he thought it tasted more like Buffalo sauce than lemon pepper. We also shared a side of yucca fries with the best dipping sauce. Thank goodness they give you moist towelettes with every order because their sandwiches are messy to eat but so worth it!

Chicken was good, but wet lemon pepper is basically just buffalo and will stain your face. I'll probably come back.

What a great experience sitting at the bar for dinner…read more I was quickly greeted and got my drink order taken care of. I ordered a two piece white with slaw and greens. Awesome flavor! The staff let me sample the potato salad which was amazing. Was told the story about the lady that makes the pies and had a slice of pecan. Very good. I recommend you give them a try, because I will be back on my next visit to downtown. Enjoy!

For a place that boldly claims to have world-famous fried chicken in its name, I really expected to…read morehave a better experience. The chicken was alright, but I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, let alone consider it the world's best. This joint is located in the lower hub, but I believe there's also an outside street entrance. Upon entering, we were told to sit anywhere. The interior is rather dim, and it wasn't super clean as there were still some crumbs on our table from the last people who dined there. There is also a very casual feel to the place, exemplified by the fact that food is served on styrofoam plates and paper trays. FOOD: 2-Piece Dark (Thigh & Leg) (4/5) - Chicken was nice and crispy, but nothing crazy special to me. I was expecting it to be spicier. Liked it more with the Louisiana hot sauce on the table. The chicken rests on a slab of white bread and is served with average slaw and sweet baked beans. Fried Okra (3.5/5) - First time having fried okra. Not bad, and I guess frying it eliminates the slimy texture associated with okra. SERVICE: I am not usually one to complain about service. The person who served us was sweet when we did interact, but it was so hard to get their attention to order and get the bill. But beyond that, the kitchen was noticeably SLOW. My brother and I literally only ordered one plate/portion to share since we wanted to try more places, but it took over half an hour to receive our food. They do emphasize that food is cooked to order, but I still found the wait to be baffling. TLDR// Come here or don't, but if you do, make sure you are not on a time crunch. Maybe I am just being harsh because I was expecting more from a place claiming to have the world's best.
