Until Scott Taylor came a long, yes it was a long process almost 4 months, so don't believe what you hear. What Scott did say to me in the beginning came true and more... There were times I wanted to give up and his calming voice walked me through the obstacle at hand. We got through and I must say I have learned a lot. One think I know for a fact is that Integrity First Lending stands by their word. I have looked at other reviews here and I would say this process isn't fun, my whole life has revolved around this ordeal, and yes I experienced different scenarios, not with lender but Quicken Loans was working with me at the same time, but never followed through, they just fell of the face of the earth. Thank You Scott Taylor

After the loan was completed they sent me a customer survey to fill out. They asked about a particular person who I never worked with. I should have gone with Quicken Loans, since they were more on the ball and wanted to earn my business.

As newcomers…read moreto the SLC area and newbies in the real estate market, we found that David went above and beyond to make the entire home-buying process educational, smooth and easy. David's deep knowledge of the SLC market, consistent availability to answer our questions (even the simplest ones), and genuine attention to our needs makes him exceptional. His expertise, eye for detail, and dedication to his profession shone through at every step of the journey. David set up listing alerts for our broad search area and took us to see over 30 homes. He educated us on all the things we should expect from a house in our price range. This included the quality of cabinetry, appliances, flooring/ carpet, tile arrangement, the type of grout used and so on. He didn't shy away from pointing out deficiencies in a house that were not apparent to me or my wife. He has a teacher's mindset and really prepared us to identify the house that would be perfect for us such that we could quickly put in an offer when such a house was listed. He gave us contacts for different lenders and contractors, and this proved extremely helpful. Ultimately, we put in an offer on our dream house the same day it was listed and had our offer accepted within 24 hours. Furthermore, he worked with our lender and the sellers agent to arrange closing within 2 weeks of the offer date. The whole process couldn't have gone any better and David had a huge part to play in it. I'll be referring all future SLC home buyers to David--we cannot recommend him highly enough!

If anyone asks for a referral, I would not hesitate recommending the BHhurd team, and more specifically Justin. He was AWESOME. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, timely, consistent and any other great attribute you'd want someone to have while helping you with such a monumental moment in your life. I am probably one of the most difficult, entitled individuals that I've come across, and you know what? Justin held his professionalism every step of the way! I definitely commend him for dealing with me as well as he did, very impressive. He was able to get our lot premium waived, went to all our walk through, pointed out things we would have never seen and got corrected and facilitated every meeting. The lender and home builder was all liaison'd through Justin. Seriously, don't know what else to say besides not choosing Bhurd for your home needs would be a monumental mistake. A few days before our scheduled closing, she told me that we would not be able to close on time. When I asked what she would do to get the file back on track (because she said she had NO IDEA when the file would be ready to close) she told me to stop bullying her. So I called Shiloh directly and he said "well if it isn't the absentee realtor...". Later in the conversation he asked when was the closing deadline, which was the next day. And I am the party who is absent? Unbelievable. I asked when he could have the file closed and he said maybe in 2 weeks. How did this file get so far behind? How did he not know it was so far behind? His team didn't even order the appraisal until the appraisal deadline. And he had the arrogance to say it was my fault. When is the agent responsible to order the appraisal? When the seller's agent called to confirm that they would be able to get the deal back on track before recommending her client sign an extension, she was told by Stacy that she wasn't sure and the client had been denied by 4 lenders, which is confidential client information. Based on this info, the agent would not recommend their client extend the contract unless we changed lenders. Thank goodness we took the file over to Jordan, at Citywide! He got it closed in 2 weeks (which was the same amount of time Shilo said he still needed to close the file). Thanks Jordan! The only thing Shiloh did right on this file was release it so someone else who could come through where he and his team had failed.
