Set on replacing our furnace and central air this spring we started asking friends & family for recommendations while we also started collecting quotes from the more well known local businesses. The most positive reviews we were provided were for Rob Hill. What surprised us was that he also had the most reasonable bid. That is not something you normally experience. In fact we were so surprised we asked around some more as it just seemed to good to be true. Sure enough, every customer we could find had nothing but praise. So we decided to give them a shot. Rob and his son arrived, removed the old units, installed the new ones, and had us up and running in no time. In fact far less time than we expected. They were fast, efficient, and professional. Better yet the units work amazingly well and are very quiet. They even came back a couple weeks later to make sure everything was still running smooth. They have such a large and varied assortment of trees, which I thoroughly enjoy seeing. They usually carry are larger choice of trees than what I see there in Watertown. What I also enjoy is chopping it up with the employees here. I know my trees pretty well and they also understand the species, and sub-species; which ones are grafted, spliced, new subspecies and so forth. They also understand which ones handle sub-optimal conditions, which allows for better choice for choosing which trees. What's also a big adder in the decision making process is they also will work with you to throw in some meaningful discounts. All in all, I plan on returning more often and can't wait to see what's new for that season for tree planting.

I contacted Perrys Electric about installing a mini split system in my house. They came to look at…read moremy property, we come up with a basic plan and they gave me a quote. Once I accepted their quote they were able to order the equipment and start the install. The equipment took about two weeks to arrive and they were able to start the installation process right away. The overall time it took them to install the mini split system, which consisted of the outdoor unit and three indoor units, was three days. I was very surprised at how quick the equipment came in and how fast they were able to get it installed. The quality of the installation was excellent and they were able to run and install everything the way I envisioned. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. All the technicians were very knowledgeable about the system and were able to answer any questions that I asked them. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that they were not the best at keeping the customer up to date or giving them information about the system without the customer having to ask for it themselves. The negative comment is a personal one that I felt, but might not matter for other customers. I am just a person that likes to know what is going on and how to take care of proper maintenance tasks, so I am always asking questions. As long as the customer comes up with all questions beforehand to ask them about the system, then there will be no issue at all as they are extremely knowledgeable about their work. Overall I would give them 4.5 stars due to the lack of information given to me without having to ask for it. Going off of their installation alone gives them 5 stars and I would recommend them to anyone.
