Had a scheduled appointment, told me they over booked. Ended up waiting 2 hours after arrival. Out of the 10+ MRIs I have done, never had the wait been this long. Very unprofessional especially when I have to take off work and fasting was required for this. I would not recommend Houston MRI. read more

I've had several MRI's done at this location in the past. All were professional and seamless. I actually mentioned this to my doctor recently. I'll speak with him again. Soon. I received a text today that I would owe $550.00 +3% if I used a credit card for an upcoming appointment and to call with any questions. I called to ask why so much, my deductible has been paid for some time now. After going through a frustrating phone menu and being placed repeatedly on hold, I was told that my insurance had been verified and I've not met my out of pocket or my deductible, that I should call my insurer. After a 3 minute call, my insurance confirmed what I already knew, my deductible is paid. I called Houston MRI Cypress back, and again was repeatedly placed on hold. I voiced my findings to the person I had spoken with previously and asked her to contact my insurance company to re-verify, that the info they were given was incorrect. I was interrupted, not allowed to speak and very curtly told that my insurance had already been verified and couldn't be changed. I was told that I needed to call my insurance company to have them call Houston Cypress MRI to make arrangements to speak with one of their insurance specialists. We both raised our voices and talked over one another. I hung up. Why is it my job to make calls and arrangements for a provider to verify my insurance? If the verification had been done correctly in the first place, this would not be an issue. If I had not been interrupted and had been spoken to politely, I probably would have done it. Fast forward to the next morning. I received a call from the interrupter to see if I wanted to move my appointment up. This conversation was no different than the last. I later spoke with Alba, a manager who also refused to call my insurance. She insisted that I initiate a three way call. I decided to play along. While starting the three way call with my insurer, I was informed that not only had my deductible been paid, but I had a zero co-pay with Houston MRI. We made the call. Bridgette answered and immediately put us on hold. We held until we couldn't any longer and hung up. Customer service died a long time ago. Houston MRI Cypress is a shining example of that. read more

If you are visiting from out of town to see a physician, I strongly advise against having your imaging performed here. This facility only releases images in person, meaning patients who do not live locally are unable to obtain their images. As a result, I am now required to undergo a second exam, receiving unnecessary radiation exposure and incurring additional out of pocket costs. This policy directly conflicts with the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable), which is a foundational standard in medical imaging. There is no clinical justification for a patient to receive double the radiation dose due to an administrative records policy. This falls short of what patients should expect from any accredited imaging facility, and I would encourage others to consider this before scheduling here. Had I known this, I certainly would not have had my exam performed here. read more

Had an appointment at 4pm. I arrived at 3:50, paid and waited an hour only to be told that I'll have to reschedule because the paramedic left. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional! read more

Horrible call center to make an appointments. It took 3 calls to get them to find my orders. On 3rd call when they finally found them, the person on the phone sounded like they had a mouth full of marshmallows. Had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. She asked the same questions multiple times and kept putting me on hold. After 20 minutes to make an appointment, they can't see me for over a week. Complete waste of time. read more

So Ive been here twice this year, don't judge just getting old. Have had two great experiences here. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and willing to help out when you are trying to be squeezed in. Facility is very clean, every time I've been here it looks like they just opened the door for the first time. They are way less expensive than other centers in the area, by far. Don't ever get your imaging done at a hospital, it's way to expensive and cumbersome. Just come here. They get you in fast, work with almost every major insurance and are friendly as heckin' read more

Finally. Refund arrived today. Won't go through this again. Next time, I will tell them to bill me - IF there is a next time. Doubtful.

I arrived a little early for the appointment and was actually called back quickly. Staff was pleasant and Tech was very nice, office was having A/C issues and had hoses across the floor that were a trip hazard even tho they were secured. I was finished with my test and out the door before my actual Appointment time. I am now however still waiting on my results. Test was done on 7/24/25, Dr follow-up on 8/5/25, and neither of us have a copy of the results that were supposed to only take 3-5 days. My Dr is having his staff call for my results. read more

This facility is very unprofessional. I made an appointment a week in advance after trying to call for two days only to have the appointment cancelled. They said they tried texting me and calling me. I received NO calls, NO voicemails, NO messages AT ALL! All they could say was "I understand your frustrations". NO YOU DON"T! Why didnt they leave a voicemail? Why would I make an appointment just for them to cancel it?!?? read more

Horrible Services - Extremely rude front desk staff - My daughter had a scheduled appointment at 7:45pm on a Thursday, we arrived 15 minutes prior to complete any necessary paperwork, but as soon as we approached the front desk we were told that we were there too early, I explained that my daughter's appointment was at 7:45pm and that was on the confirmation text I received - the lady on the front desk indicated that our appointment was at 8pm - well that's not what they inform us when I made the appointment. Their cypress location apparently was experiencing issues with their power, the A/C was not working, they had fans on, but the office felt humid and disgusting. Another patient was inside, the poor girl came out about 8:10pm sweating and complaining to her mother that was waiting for her that they were not able to complete their images. The other patient's mother approached the front desk to complaint and the staff was rude to her as well - they left - After seeing they reaction, I went to the them and they said " Oh yeah, you will need to reschedule your daughter's appointment" - I asked for my money back, asked for the doctor's order and left. I will never come back to this place ever again. Poor customer service. They should have contact us to notify us that their office was out of power, so we wouldn't have waisted our time there for nothing. read more

Alba was just AMAZING to deal with in the appointment setting!! She returned calls when she said and kept me up to speed with every step!!! The whole staff treat you with such care and concern! The nurse that gets you undressed and asks you questions is super amazing and has a great personality! Not to mention the gentleman that took my actual MRI scans was so gentle, full of personality, and just gave out right concern that let you know he cared! I truly felt the kindness of this establishment! If I ever need these type of procedures again I will definitely recommend this location! read more

I was referred to this establishment by one of the NPs at my PCP's office. I received a phone call from the scheduler within a couple hours of me leaving the PCP's office which was really quite unexpected as I thought I would have to be the one to call them. I was happy to hear that there was open availability for the next day. I was even happier to know that though my insurance would not cover my visit (out of network), my x-ray would cost me less than $50. I took the earliest appointment possible at 8:00AM and I was instructed by the scheduler to arrive 15 minutes early. I arrived the next morning at 7:35AM and finished my paperwork within 10 minutes. Unfortunately, however, I still had to wait until approximately 8:15AM to be called for my x-ray. My x-ray tech (whose name I've unfortunately forgotten) was quick, knowledgeable, effiecient, and polite. I was done within 10 minutes. I would happily return here if [medically] necessary. read more
