My initial experience in trying to find an interior decorator was an utter failure. Two professional type firms rejected my application and one woman told me that she would not take on any jobs without a minimum furniture purchase of $250,000. I wondered aloud what the proletariat did for their home decorating needs? Then I stumbled on Missy, she was the perfect speed for me in every way, serving in the dual role of inter decorator and project manager. Her approach was perfect, putting ideas and concepts into simple power point presentations where I could pick and choose what worked and didn't work for me. I never got the impression that she was imposing her views or concepts of what my place should look like too forcefully. Eventually I did need to concede that most of her ideas were spot on. Also, and this might be most important for some people, her rates are very reasonable, billing out on an hourly basis for time expended versus the lump sum approach you'll find with a lot of decorators. Never got the feeling throughout the entire process that the money was not being well spent. All around her patience (with me), ideas and affordability made the entire experience a terrific one. Would highly recommend Missy to anyone looking to bring in a professional for a small or big home decorating project.

They were so professional throughout the design process and responded promptly to all my questions. As you may know, when you're having work completed on your house, the process can become unnerving because you want to know what's going on and you want to make sure it's done to your liking. But Leah and her crew eased my fears (and husbands) and never hesitated to provide an update when we asked for one. The accent walls in our living room, master and my son's room were designed with us in mind. And the style matches our swag perfectly! My 5yo loves his space as it fits his personality and I love it because he can grow with his big boy room. The pictures I've attached do not capture the actual beauty of our home (I've was told by family that have seen the space). If you're looking for a design team that takes pride in her work, and willing to put the customer first, I highly recommend Leah and her crew.

Originally, I was not excited about my wife wanting to hire an outside interior decorating firm,…read morebut I was terribly wrong after our experience with The Design Firm! We recently moved into an 8-year old home that was very boring, all builder grade decorations/colors, and my wife wanted to do a facelift on living area, kitchen, gameroom and two bedrooms. We interviewed several interior decorators, but The Design Firm won our business due to their incredible professionalism, creativity and the attention to detail was palpable. We had a series of meetings with designer, Jenn (cant remember last name), and even Kara (the owner) participated in some of our meetings. They even created an artist rendering of what we could expect with the finished project which was icing on the cake for a husband with no vision! The total project took about 3 months and they handled everything from choosing the final colors, ordering furniture, light fixtures, and paints, completed install in a timely fashion, but always alerted us of timeline of project, including one delay due to item being on back order. My wife really wanted project complete in time for a special party and The Design Firm worked diligently to make sure project was complete in time for party, communication was outstanding and helped relieve wife's stress. I HIGHLY recommend The Design Firm to make your visions become a reality, I am now a true believer in having an outside interior decorator handle your vision, and our finished project is stunning and gets compliments from all of our guests! We are now planning a second project with The Design Firm to overhaul our outdoor patio and master bedroom/bath, and I am excited to see what their creative minds have in store for us. Upon reading other reviews, I am appalled that some people did not have the most pleasant and professional experience with The Design Firm, I highly recommend that you meet with them to see all the things they can do...you pay for what you get, and I feel like our money was well spent and the result is phenomenal!

After researching several other companies and private contractors, we decided to collaborate with…read moreSpaceManager Closets to create our study, master, and game room displays, bookcases, entertainment center, and closet. Despite not being the cheapest, the three key factors that influenced our decision were the impressive displays in the showroom, local manufacturing facility located behind the showroom, and the lifetime transferable warranty. Kameha, the friendly front desk representative, made us feel welcome and proudly guided us through the facilities. We had never encountered a company so eager to showcase its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility! The showroom displays catered to various room upgrades, were diverse, and visually stunning. Throughout the design phase, we had an exceptional experience with Chris K., our designer. He possessed an artistic flair, humility, and a customer-centric approach, never exerting pressure on us. His keen eye for space and attention to detail resulted in designs that not only met our requirements but also exuded aesthetic appeal. Working with Chris was a delightful experience! Brian, Chris's supervisor, was also incredibly flexible and played a crucial role in finalizing the deal. He readily accommodated all our requests and ensured a seamless payment process. Wendy and Angela in the back office were exceptionally communicative, respectful, and accommodating. They handled all our communication needs with precision, providing timely emails, phone calls, follow-ups, and re-schedules. The installation was meticulously handled by three crews, each responsible for a distinct room. Their enthusiasm and well-organized approach set the tone for the project. Upon entering, they donned booties, clearly explained the process, and laid out thick cloth sheets and other barriers to prevent dust and debris from falling. Their meticulous attention to detail ensured a flawless installation. Even staying late one evening to complete the job, they cleaned thoroughly after themselves and departed as planned. However, we encountered a few significant delays. The game room cabinet puck lights were delayed due to a lack of timely supplies from a vendor. The glass door was initially damaged and subsequently mishandled by a new employee at the shop. These issues caused the project to drag on for over a month, making it somewhat inconvenient to put all the items back in their rightful places. Despite these setbacks, the company's exemplary handling of the matter and their engagement with us were truly commendable. They helped mitigate the inconvenience and ensured that we were satisfied with the overall project. We would like to personally acknowledge each team member for their exceptional work. Kameha at the front desk, Chris K. the designer, Brian the design manager, Wendy and Angela who diligently coordinated the installation and communicated with everyone involved, Daniel the installation manager, and the most important people, the installation crews: The Three Jesus': Jesus Hernandez, Jesus Cruz, and Jesus Marquez; Pedro; Yiovanni; Abraham; and Joseph. They were all very detail-oriented, meticulous, courteous, and experts in their craft. When asked, each of them expressed their pride in working for a good company that genuinely cares for its customers. Our calls to Wendy, Angela, and Daniel to address a few minor issues after the installation always resulted in positive and prompt responses and service. We are very satisfied with the overall project so far and are enjoying the results. We plan to engage SpaceManager again for other buildouts. Kudos to management for empowering teams to prioritize the customer's needs!
