I immediately contacted Signature Rental and their response was less than desired. They told us no housekeeping staff were on location and they would be back at the hotel at 11 am the next day. Me and 3 of my guests were then forced to sleep next to a used condom with a smell of bodily fluids wafting from the vase. In the morning, we left as soon as possible to get out of the filthy room and waited for the room to be cleaned. I got a message from Signature Rental around 1:30 asking me to send a picture of the condom to prove there is an issue... i was floored. Not only have they still not cleaned our room, they need picture evidence to give the room a once over...After i told them i did not feel comfortable taking a picture of someone's used condom, they sent a snarky message about leaving our do not disturb light was on... Sorry, was in a bit of a hurry to get out of our petri dish of a room to check the do not disturb light. Later when returning to the room, we saw there was no signs of actually cleaning that happened, not even the beds were made. Surprisingly, the condom was gone. And the worst part? Not a single refund or anything comped. Am i crazy, or does forcing guests to sleep in a room with a condom not justify a free night at least? I assumed rental companies had some sort of morals for having people sleep in decently cleaned rooms, but not these guys.

The rooms are spacious and true suites - a bedroom completely separate from a living area. Awesome if you have a long stay or are traveling with a group. Lots of windows and a small balcony made it feel even more spacious. If you are on one side of the towers, you will have great views of planes taking off and landing at the airport (it's the south facing rooms, I forget which numbers!). Service was super friendly when I needed a few items and when I asked for recommendations. Each tower has its own pool, but you can use any of the three. They had different amounts of shade and not all were open every day, so you may need to walk extra. You have full access to the pool complex at the main section of the MGM Grand (and you're probably closer to it than if you actually stayed there). You can also access the monorail station from there as well. I've stayed at a few monorail hotel/resorts and despite being the last stop, this was by far the easiest to get to and actually use. The units here are partially hotel and partially resident owned. Be careful if booking through a 3rd party - if you are staying in a resident room you do not get any housekeeping services. I arrived late in the evening and it was a little challenging to find the right tower to check-in. Valet parking was included, but on Friday and Saturday night there was a huge line at the entrance (not sure why).

Although we didn't spend much time at the casinos, we were close to lots of restaurants and attractions including the Aria, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio and Park MGM. We also enjoyed having the convenient Marketplace coffee and Gelato shop downstairs and water bottle filling stations around the hotel (lobby, fitness center, pool areas). What made the Marketplace especially memorable is that our server was very generous with our large cup of gelato!! So yummy. She is a hospice graduate, a mother of five and a grandmother of five. She decided to book 2 hotel rooms at the Wyndham in Las Vegas on Harmon Avenue so that we could all be together and celebration of her birthday. We did not know that this was a timeshare hotel or that she would be aggressively approached by the salesman with these timeshare offers. My sister and I went in with her and our 3 kids to this 9am timeshare seminar, led by very attractive and well dressed groups of people. Everything seemed too good to be true. They kept bringing down the price of the total timeshare and gave her VIP upgrades and all sorts of perks and upgraded point packages due to it being her birthday and the fact that we all worked in healthcare. She had made it through several levels of the process and moved from room to room with different salesman. She began to feel very uncomfortable and she was insecure with her final decision, so she pulled out and said she had, had enough. By this time they had already got her personal information and they decided to open a credit card in her name anyway. Furthermore, they fraudulently signed for this credit card with someone else's signature that was not my mother's own. That same afternoon I went down before they all went home for the day and filed an incident report with the director of the timeshare operations department. I took a picture of the report I filled out and followed up today with a voicemail left for those same directors, Marcus Stone and Troy Patterson. What happen this weekend is unlawful and fraudulent. We come to find that they do have an active class action lawsuit against them for these very sinister acts. Although the hotel in hospitality was great the aspect of these timeshare sharks really threw a wrench in our very short family trip. We are disgusted by the fact that they moved forward with something that was completely turned down. Beware the Whyndham timeshare representatives. If you are naïve and going in to stay at this hotel for the sake of price or the fact that they have condos that can accommodate larger families, beware that they will try to hustle you to purchase one of their worldwide international timeshare packages. If we knew then what we know now, we would have bypassed staying there altogether.

Both companies addressed our concerns and offered timely, appropriate assistance. This review is solely about Strip View Suites, whose standards for customer service and property quality were far below what we know Airbnb to represent. We specifically booked this listing to stay in a particular suite. However, we were not notified in advance that our room was unavailable. Instead, we were informed upon arrival by the Palms Place front desk -- not Strip View Suites -- that our unit could not be released due to a power issue. This resulted in a 1 hour and 17 minute delay at check-in. The replacement unit was not comparable to what we booked. It had visible stains on furniture and pillows, a peeling headboard, a sink that did not drain, a bathtub that was dirty and would not seal (making it unusable), and a TV with severely pixelated and blurry picture quality, etc. Despite repeatedly raising these issues, Strip View Suites never resolved them. We were continually told the situation was "under review," promised that a manager would contact us, and assured a full resolution prior to checkout -- none of which happened. No manager ever reached out. Ultimately, the refund we received came almost entirely through Airbnb, not the host. We later learned through Airbnb that waiting until AFTER checkout limited the host's ability to provide more than a partial refund. Given the repeated delays and lack of urgency, this was especially disappointing. We chose Airbnb specifically to select a particular room and receive attentive, individualized service. Instead, we experienced last-minute changes, poor room conditions, and a complete lack of accountability from Strip View Suites. We would not recommend this host. **EDIT** As noted by the owner, we did receive a partial refund from SVS only after involving Airbnb. SVS did not attempt to resolve the issue until after checkout, which limited their responsibility to a 30 percent refund based on the nightly rate, not the total amount paid. In reality, the $85.50 refund amounted to approximately 18 percent of our total cost. SVS charges fees for early check-in, late check-out, and even unexpected delays, yet offered compensation far below those standards for THEIR unexpected delay. While we understand that unexpected issues can occur, the problem was not the issue itself but how it was handled. We were never proactively contacted by SVS, despite them knowing of the change, and only learned upon arrival. Promises of manager follow-up and resolution before checkout were made and never honored. The lack of communication, urgency, and accountability is why this experience was handled so poorly.

Price was reasonable; I didn't go cheapest for my first trip to Vegas, but this cost what a large room or small suite would be in other cities, and when I walked in I realized it was a large suite: full kitchen with a "peninsula" (whatever you call an attached island,) large bedroom, huge bathroom with jacuzzi, big balcony, plush living room area. Oh, and a complimentary bottle of pretty good wine. Service at the front desk was great, on several stops (check-in, questions, just passing through.) I saw other guests treated just as well. Free parking, in a big garage. I didn't take advantage of the pool or restaurant but they seemed popular. No gaming, another surprise. Not that I hate it, but it was a nice break since it is everywhere else from the arrival gates at the airport to any restaurant or store you go to. Half mile walk to the Sphere or the strip, and the monorail, etc. I was really impressed and completely enjoyed my visit. Very little hall noise and the room seemed well insulated. We arrived early Friday morning and were greeted by William, who was incredibly kind and hardworking--seriously, bless him. Since our room wasn't ready yet, he offered to store all of our luggage (and groceries), and later helped us get a cart and settled in. He was such a standout and made a great first impression. The room was as advertised, washer and dryer are on premises for an extra fee. Not a huge deal for a short trip, but it would've been a downside if we were staying longer. Otherwise, it was well-stocked with what we needed. Beds weren't the coziest, but they were fine. What really stood out was the staff--they were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, which we appreciated. The pool area was just okay--pretty crowded, and it could definitely use more chairs and maybe some music for better ambiance. That said, Derek came around handing out ice cream and was incredibly friendly. We even saw him picking up litter himself, which says a lot about the level of care the take in guest experience. I also noticed a sign with daily activities, which looked like a fun perk--especially for families or those traveling with kids. There was also a well-stocked snack area available for purchase, which was super convenient. I had heard they sometimes push timeshare tours, but we weren't approached even once, which I really appreciated. Overall, while I'd probably choose a full Airbnb house over this for a longer stay, this property worked perfectly for our quick trip. The staff truly made the experience, and because of them--especially William--I'm giving this a 5-star review.

The manager was decent about it but didn't want to refund us more than the one evening, ridiculous. The hero was the mechanic who retrieved the dead cockroach and helped us pack our belongings. I don't care that much there was a cockroach, while it might be gross and could indicate these rooms aren't super clean, bugs happen. What upset me the most was the lack of care from the staff. Your job is hospitality, show it. So I wouldn't recommend this place, no because of the bugs....but because of the service....
