Other products are available such as cleaning materials, household basics and some items to decorate all rooms of the house in. The shop has a lot of character and a lot of items which will make your home a little different to those whose owners shop at the mainstream High Street stores. It's also a good place to shop for gifts. Prices are not cheap, probably the same amount if you were to buy them in a supermarket or other housewares stores. The name Walk About really suits the shop as it is quite pleasant to walk about and browse the shelves. It's a calm, relaxed shopping experience which makes is another reason I like coming here.

Competitively priced with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Walkaround also stock King Cole yarn, wool, patterns and accessories and will order if they don't have it in stock. I think they are the cheapest stockist I've found so far.
