Please see edited portion below…read more Here was my initial rating: "( 2 stars) : All staff were professional, thorough, polite, friendly, etc. My complaint is they did not listen to me. I made it clear that I just wanted one service. But I had to pay approximately $171 for services I did not want, what I wanted should have only cost me $66.64+tax (per their invoice). I understand why they conducted the services they did, but...they did not listen to me. I may even use them again, but I will be prepared to ether insist on what I want (not what they want) or just be prepared to pay for services I do not want or go somewhere else." Not every business has the moral character to contact a client concerning a review and discuss. Dr. Sheets did just that. I'm grateful for that. I did assume that the services I did not want were being conducted by the offices policies, rules, etc. I now understand that the services they conducted were regulated and required by the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners. I now give them 5 Stars and would recommend them!

The whole staff is very kind, they are easy to get ahold of, they have answered any random questions I've had and have an excellent reminder system for shots that are needed. I even like their vet records more haha. The price is very fair for the experience. The shots themselves are priced similarly to other veterinary clinics. Having been here several times now, I've never seen another animal booked as the same time as me. Which has created a very positive experience and my dog has never been stressed visiting here (like they were at another clinic).

This was an extremely painful decision, and I chose to surrender him to this foundation rather than sell him because I believed they would have the experience and compassion to ensure he had the best possible future. Unfortunately, after surrendering him, I was met with judgment rather than empathy. Given the organization's mission, I expected understanding and kindness during an already devastating situation. Instead, the experience left me feeling shamed at a moment when support would have mattered most.

None of my personal references were ever contacted, which makes me feel like my application wasn't fairly considered. To make matters worse, I later saw a post on their social media claiming that the dog was still available because all potential adopters "backed out at the last minute." This is misleading, since I was denied without fair consideration. It felt dishonest and unfair. It's frustrating to feel judged based on where I live rather than the care and commitment I can offer. Every dog deserves a good home, and every responsible applicant deserves to be evaluated honestly and fairly. Save your time and go somewhere else.

The staff was so friendly and of course Shadow was his charming self until it came to the exam lol. They were gentle with him and gave him plenty of treats afterwards . His Doctor was friendly and very enthusiastic about Shadow being in such good shape . He has nice teeth , clean ears, clear lungs . Knowing all of this made me relax more. He got a clean bill of health with the exception that he's FIV positive. Shadow is the only cat in our house and he's strictly a indoor cat. Even with that he can and will live a full life . One of the ladies did agree with me that he looks like he's part Russian Blue. In terms of cost the initial exam was free because we adopted him from LHS . I did pay for some additional testing and I think it was a fair price . Shadow does have pet insurance for those just in case moments hopefully they'll be none of those. Shadow will continue to to there for check ups and future shots .

If I could give Dr. Keith more than five stars, I absolutely would…read more Dr. Keith has performed two surgeries on my Golden Retriever, Harper Jane--first her knee surgery and most recently to remove a lipoma. Both times, he has been nothing short of exceptional. Not only is he incredibly skilled, but his bedside manner is something you rarely find anymore. He never makes you feel rushed. He takes the time to explain everything in a way that's easy to understand, answers every question, and talks to you like an old friend instead of just another client. You can tell he genuinely cares about both his patients and their families. After Harper Jane's most recent surgery, she decided to remove her own staples, causing her incision to open and bleed. Of course, this happened on a Friday evening. I texted Dr. Keith, and despite having a house full of guests, he met us at his office on Saturday to check on her. He made sure she was okay and didn't even want to charge us for the visit. That kind of dedication, compassion, and generosity is almost unheard of. Dr. Keith goes above and beyond because he truly loves what he does, and it shows in every interaction. Harper Jane is healthy today because of his expertise and care, and I will be forever grateful. He deserves to be named Vet of the Decade. I honestly don't know what I'll do if he ever retires. Thank you, Dr. Keith, for taking such incredible care of our sweet girl. I happened to check the pet cams at work and saw it happening. I rushed home to get him to the vet. Once bloat sets in, it's a surgical emergency and there's less than 2 hrs to correct it before it's fatal. I was turned down by Gainesway Animal Hospital because we weren't a patient and Tates Creek accepted us with open arms no questions asked. I was running out of time and the ER vet and our regular vet were too far and traffic was standstill. Dr. Henze met me in the parking lot to help me with him and he immediately went into an over 3 hour difficult surgery. I am so grateful for Tates Creek and their staff. They saved my dog's life, helped us, and showed so much care and compassion. Ash's stomach was twisted so badly that 15 minutes longer and he wouldn't have made it. My dogs are my children and my entire world. Dr. Henze continued to help us with aftercare even after he came home from MedVet where he was transferred to for 247 care post surgery. They saved my best friend and my heart, and I will forever be grateful to him and his team.
