this is an extremely clean facility. The people are very friendly. Your working out by yourself to videos so you don't fell funny.

Sad to say I won't be back here! Yesterday, Jan 28th 2023 I came here thinking lets try another location since I was working in that area! Walking up to the door with my Brivo Pass up and ready, I was having trouble with the wifi and it wouldnt connect me to unlock the door. As I mess with my phone for about 3/4 mins there are two young workers at the front desk just watching. No offer to open the door or even a hey are you having some trouble. Eventually,I get the door open and the young man asks me If I have ID. The owners are stricted here. Well, for one I am little annoyed considering I dont bring much into the gym with me. So, No my Id was in the trunk of my car.Now considering I was having trouble with the door I am going to be late for this session. He explained that the app which is what you would normally use to access everything. He says anyone can get on the app and just come in so he needed to see ID! Well thats the craziest thing I had heard all day. Being my 23rd session but first at this location I have never heard such a thing or been treated like I wasnt a customer. I mean who just tries to workout at a gym they dont have access to. Oh well! Glad I know now. This location is NOT for me. The way they looked at me trying to access the door instead of helping me. Rude! Also reading a few other reviews this Ownership is over the top. so many extra rules that they only apply to certain people. I couldn't even concentrate on my workout I was late and treated with very little respect. It's a shame 2023 and some businesses will still never get it! read more

I can't say enough amazing things about this location and about the owner, Kelly!! My very first time at the beginning of the year - I fell in love immediately with the workouts, the setup , the privacy, the location, etc. Fast forward to now and after my wedding I had my account on pause and I make one call to get it back on and it's seamless and easy and I don't talk to some robot - I talk directly to the owner herself! The monthly price is insanely reasonable for all you get and I saw a difference in my body within just a couple weeks of consistent workouts. Not only are there intense workout but there's also yoga, stretching, Pilates etc. I REALLY can't say enough amazing things! The workouts are so fun and easy to follow along. You watch them on a video while you're in a closed sauna room. There's about 6 sauna rooms total plus a gym area with weights and a bench. This is an infrared hot yoga not your normal heat fan blowing on you. I like that I can earn the burn at convenient times and I don't have to workout for hours and hours to burn the same amount of calories as a HOTWORX session! AWESOME staff, the owner Kelly is very nice and knowledgeable and super cute gear! You get such a great workout in a short amount of time. I have tried hot yoga and hot Pilates. They also have hot core and HIIT. HOTWORX is a fabulous concept. It combines efficient workouts with the benefits of infrared energy and heat. I've been doing hot yoga for over 10 years and love it, but it can be time consuming and offered at times that don't work with my schedule. The facility is super clean. They have a wide variety of workouts which I love and the heat feels amazing! There is no better work out in such a short amount of time. If you are looking for a unique new place to workout, HOTWORX is it! Will bring my friends with me next time. read more

Hello Kelly, well I wanted to wait until I had a chance to experience your Hotworx location a few times before I would update my review and today 1/24/2023 was my 3rd visit. When you approached me to let me know that there is normally a check in process for existing members who visit from other locations I honestly felt like you singled me out because I am a Black woman, because how could you possibly know each and every member who has joined your Scottsdale location. I also figured that being able to access the gym with the Brio pass and saying hello when I came in would be enough for you to recognize that I am familiar with the way Hotworx works however; you assumed that I did not know that the commonly used equipment and areas needed to be wiped down. And that the saunas should be turned off after use. As the owner you make the vibe at this location miserable. But as long as I am a member I will stop in to work out if I am close because that is why I pay for the "Sweat Everywhere" Membership. Hopefully next time you won't approach me like you did on 1/24/23. read more

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HOTWORX! Amazing workout and I always feel so great after I'm done! The workouts can be adjusted to your level of difficulty (as well as the temps) or on days you don't feel like working out, I like just sitting in the infrared rooms and stretching! I love the variety of the workouts, the front desk team, and the cleanliness of this location. I absolutely love hotworx because it has been the only workout that has kept me consistent but also see results within a month! Not only do I love the concept of this workout but also the culture this location brings. Everyone is so nice and helpful but still keeps to themselves as this is a very relaxing time. This is a 24 hour infrared sauna gym closed only on Sundays. They offer 30 minute isometric workouts in their saunas to include HOT BUNS, HOT YOGA, HOT CORE, and several more. My guest and I tried the HOT CYCLE which is a 15 minutes guided cycling workout. We went mid day and there was some traffic in the gym but not an annoying busy. In the picture is shows a little bit of the free weights section which is also and option. Lockers, restrooms, and a shower are an option. They have monthly subscriptions where right now due to their soft open they are $49.99 with no starting fee for the basic membership. Things may change soon though. I would definitely go back as they have day passes for around 20$... I really enjoyed this ELITE experience. read more

This location is amazing. Kelly & Kelsey helped me get all signed up. This gym design is GENUIS. They offer yoga, cycle, hit training, full body all in a dry sauna. It's so rejuvenating and it's open 24 hours to members. I signed up today as the special price was something I couldn't pass up! Totally recommend this to people to check out. read more

I've been a member for over a year and love it! Unfortunately it's close to my office and far away from my home, so don't get to go as much as I would like. Even though I go infrequently, Kelly always remembers my name and greets me on the way in. You feel amazing when the workout is done and it has helped with my lower back issues. read more

I did not want to cancel. i asked to freeze my membership due to being out of town settling an estate of two recently deceased family members. But your staff member was very rude and upset me to the point I didn't want anything to do with your business anymore and felt I needed to cancel. Going into the situation, I had no intention of canceling. You should really teach your staff not to make assumptions of what other people are going thru. read more

I joined the studio last May, 2022. The next week I was offered a position out of state and had to immediately relocate in order to accommodate the offering. I contacted the studio via email 6/7 and they said I could not cancel if I don't come in personally to do so. I called and spoke with the husband/BF who stated Kelly was with a customer signing them up and couldn't be interrupted. I explained that I was no longer living in the area or state and needed this addressed. He agreed that they could cancel due to the issue and I've been charged monthly ever since. Anytime I address this (clearly phone calls aren't to be trusted with the owners) via email, I get a copy of what emails have been sent. This is absolute fraud. Extremely poor operations. People with franchises need to have business degreees at the least. read more

I absolutely love Hotworx and this location. Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by name and treated with respect. The gym is clean and I feel safe thanks to the team following the rules and expectations. When i joined almost 2 years ago the rules were clearly laid out and I was grateful to know they are followed. My husband who has never been committed to a daily workout loves going to Hotworx as well and it is the only place he will work out on a regular basis. read more

My mom and I joined the Scottsdale HOTWORX family over a year ago and I still can't get enough of it! Kelly, the owner, is extremely informative and friendly. I've seen reviews noting her "intensity", but I honestly feel she just gets really excited about the HOTWORX experience and genuinely enjoys educating others about its countless benefits. Even with the facility being open 24/7, all of the staff members make a point to know every local member and go out of their way to make sure all questions are answered, all problems are solved, and the facility and equipment are kept clean. As someone who has never been a fan of gyms/working out, I absolutely LOVE Hotworx! I feel so incredible each time I leave there drenched in sweat, and try to go 5 days a week. It's ideal that it's 24/7 but yet it is a secure facility so I feel comfortable going anytime. The saunas/common area are all kept very clean which I appreciate. I am a sweat everywhere member because I travel for work so I have been to several locations and fallen in love with Hotworx. However, the owner at this location is so strict and over the top with rules and goes about things in a very rude and condescending way to the point that I nearly canceled my membership. If you are considering trying Hotworx I strongly recommend going to one of the other locations in town (I've had a much better experience that the Tempe location). Sad to see such a good concept of a gym brought down by poor management. read more

I have been to multiple locations around the valley and while they are all great this one in particular displays the most up to date design and clean amenities. Hotworx in general is a great concept - I've visited several Hotworx studios over the past few years and this one is so over the top with rules. I understand having rules, but it's a workout studio that doesn't need to be micro managed as this one is.
