Fast forward 2 years, this gym has become more than a gym and more than a hobbies. It was become a passion and the gym a type of family I actually find intriguing enough to know outside of training. Now both of my daughters, (8 and 11), are training with me. Between our classes, friends and competitions we do, the confidence I've seen in my girls alone is worth it. I havent stuck with a single gym this long before, and I'm not leaving anytime soon. Do yourself a favor, and just try it. It's worth it. ​

When I reached out on Aug 28th they told me I had a freeze until October 14th and we would address canceling closer to this date, only to charge me on Sept 1st. I was then told my freeze didn't go to October and I would have to pay for a month before they would cancel my membership. I've got emails to back all this up. They didn't care. Told them I wouldn't be able to use these credits and that I can't afford to pay this mont. They didn't care. Even after years of working out with them. Regarding workouts. Most of them are really good. Some move from station to station too quickly. Especially if you need to add or remove weights from a bar. Coaches are helpful half the time. Sometimes they're great and will correct your form or give tips. Most of the time they just want to have small talk while you workout. Just be mindful when getting a membership there. It really does just comes down to their bottom dollar and it's less about their clients.

I've been attending TW classes for about three years now. Their program is solid and varied. They host Zumba, Cycling, step, kickboxing, yoga, Active Older Adult classes, etc. At this location, there are morning classes and evening classes, six days a week. They are $7 for a drop-in or $100 for a four-month unlimited pass. They also provide childcare, which I have never used, but I've heard good things. The staff has always been professional and supportive. The classes themselves are fun and staffed with energetic and helpful teachers. If you are looking for an affordable program for fitness classes, I highly recommend Total Wellness.

Johnson attended the institution formerly known as Southwest Texas State Teachers College beginning in 1927 and graduated in 1930. Texas State has chosen to remember him through buildings, programs, and memorials on campus. As documented in the building, Lady Bird Johnson emphasized that the center was meant to be a living tribute to her husband - one filled with the energy, activity, and engagement of students, reflecting the spirit Johnson valued in young people. His picture and his background is prominently displayed throughout the LBJ student center.

It's the first thing I need when I go work out. The weights area is good, and people are generally polite about letting other people use equipment between their sets. The bad is that the front desk is beginning to nickle and dime people when they want to borrow towels. Not only that, but you have to pay a fee for their "towel service". Then proceed to pay fifty cents to a dollar for every towel you borrow from then on. There's always a entrance whose out of commission, or the finger print scanner don't work. The natatorium is closed for most of the day for who knows what. One of the showers in the girls locker room doesn't work, and each shower has a ball of hair from all the girls who brush their hair in the shower or shave but aren't considerate enough to pick their hair up after they're done using the shower.
