We wanted our own direct views of Matterhorn, which was the main reason for choosing Focus. And our…read moreroom did not disappoint. Epic views (although the lift does obstruct a bit) from inside our room and the large deck.
The hotel has a unique and modern feel, with a cool underground tunnel entrance. They have a decent amount of common area space both indoor and out (the outdoor patio being right off of our patio, so having the same fab Matterhorn view). Although we didn't utilize the spa area it did seem cool, with an indoor/outdoor pool. The breakfast buffet was good, with a variety of hot and cold options. We went down right as it opened each morning and had it to ourselves entirely.
Hotel service, while a tad cold, was full and thorough. The hotel location was good (unless you desire to be in the thick of things). At the end of town, very quiet, yet an easy walk to restaurants/shopping. Especially great access to some trails too, which was great for us.
