Beautifully decorated hotel close to the botanical garden and university library. You walk past the marina, along the cobblestone path through the village and its up an alley on the right. Breakfast is included and what a breakfast. It is beautifully laid out with such attention to detail. Devolved eggs, meats, cheeses, breads and pastries and locally sourced jellies as well as loose tea and coffee.
The only thing to detract from the stay was lack of air flow in the hot August night. After showering the room was very humid and the one window wasn't sufficient to air the room out.
Having said that I would love to come back in a cooler weather time and spend a week here biking along the water and returning to this very lovely home away from home. read more
