A very thorough drink menu led us to order a Manhattan. The server replied that she couldn't make the drink because there was no whiskey. "That's Maker's Mark right there". Another bartender stepped in to complete the order. The first bartender simply didn't know how to make the drink and gave a lame reason to not provide a drink that is on the menu.

Extremely limited television channels, approximately only 3-5 channels available (found out later on); at first there was no service available at all; then informed the reception desk earlier regarding the television had no service available, they asked for the room number and stated they would send someone by (that was a couple of hours ago); now can watch the 3-5 channels if the streaming doesn't lock up. Receptionist desk was not very helpful and may require remedial and/or additional training for hotel related knowledge and customer relations. Bathroom was clean. Taking a shower was not convenient as it was a shower with a bathtub and the bathtub was deep; when stepping in and out of the bathtub it is best to hold the towel bar on the wall to maintain stability.

I stayed in Le Meridien (the Marriott) for a company business trip in Stuttgart, Germany…read more As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the hotel staff and was able to check in relatively quickly. Overall, service was very good during my trip. My room itself was standard but comfortable. I like that you are able to opt out of daily housekeeping in exchange for a drink voucher at their bar. Wish this was more common in the US! The hotel breakfast buffet is also very good. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it gives you everything you need to start your day right. The parking garage has a few narrow areas, which made parking with our seven-seat rental van a little difficult. Shouldn't be a problem if you have a standard sized vehicle. My colleagues and I really enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Stuttgart.

We were allowed to check in and then immediately maintenance showed up and said they had to patch the ceiling in the bathroom. The mirror in the room had a large patch on it as well. Had breakfast the 1st morning and another family had a child and he was screaming and a German woman gave a mean long eyeball stare at the child...as to scare the poor 2 year old. It terrified me and I wanted to help this poor mom comfort her son. (Just giving a scenario) Pros: breakfast buffet has wonderful choices Laundry service **FREE** Service is great when they communicate Cons: Laundry service: when I asked front desk about laundry she asked if I was military. I said yes, she then proceeded to say they only have dry clean which is very expensive but there is a laundromat in panzer. My husband asked another lady and she showed him how to sign in your laundry. so know laundry service it comes with your stay. You get a door sign that you can choose to have a drink from restaurant or bar, donate .33€ to their save water program, & something else which I forgot. I did it for 4 nights yay 6 drinks free as we had 2 rooms! But, because my children can be noisy I chose to pick up my drinks 1st night he handed it to me, different person 2nd night same 3rd time different person said it's not allowed. Room Service: You are not allowed to cook & there's no microwave. Only thing in the room is a fridge and hot water boiler. So with that said I wanted to get food for my kids and there were lots of customers in the dining so I asked if we could get their daily special as a room service they did and that was great! But next day another girl said no. 3 other waitstaff came and I tried to ask why I had it yesterday but not today she said that they weren't suppose too. So I explained about having kids and not wanting to disturb their customers. But, it seemed more of a miscommunication. So I canceled my order they brought it up anyway. I don't know ‍ left me confused. All in all this miscommunication did not discourage my stay. It was a good hotel if you know what you can get and not! This hotel has English speaking but I'm not sure if they understand fully. But, overall it's good enough! Nice area too. I had lots of walks in town that is not far. They have a beautiful playground right across. Bakeries, food courts, & a mall with 2 grocery stores. Have fun enjoy, explore, and don't get frustrated. Communication is hard when your in a different country.

I had dinner in the restaurant which is a tad pricey but the food was good. I had a gin & tonic and Maultaschen. We had the junior suite for our room. Very spacious and looks just as nice as the photos online. The bathroom is beautiful! BEAUTIFUL! There's a couch, coffee table, like 4 chairs and a desk. Coffee machine and mini bar as well, if you're into that. The view was alright. Not much to see in Stuttgart by the airport. Haha. You also get better WiFi in the suite since they give you a different log in. The room was really nice and was clean. Great value for the price! The only thing I didn't like is that the TV is mounted on a metal pipe in the middle of the room. It's very random and doesn't look good. Parking is a little steep at €15 a night but with the convenient location you can't really complain. I would stay again.
