All employees speak both German and English. Immediately outside the hotel is a bus stop the can take you where you need to include the U bahn. Breakfast high quality and very fresh with German fare. Most impressive though are the attention to decor and the daily maintenance of this. Also directly located in a quiet village near everything ; pubs, grocery store, bakery, restaurant, shops, coffee bar, and more.

Might be that is due to the fact that my room is facing away from the tracks. The personnel is friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy (including the carpets). The whole facility must have been renovated lately. The bathroom is small with a shower, modern an clean. Lots of power outlets in the room - handy if you have all kinds of IT-equipment with you. The room has equipment for preparing tea and coffee. A mini bar is available too. Stowing capacity is generous for a single room. The mattress in the bed is just right - I do not like soft beds. All said I can highly recommend this place if you staying near the Stuttgart Airport area for conferences (Filderhalle is 200m away) or business trips. You will hardly find a better deal around here for the price (70EUR/night for single room at the time of review).

The rooms are pretty modest--but still nicer than a local Holiday Inn Express where I've stayed previously for more money. Best of all was the service. It snowed while I was visiting and my rental car didn't have an ice scraper. The guy at the front desk was happy to get his own out of the car and help scrape off the ice. He really went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again.
