This used to be the Palazzo Vescovile but the chef of the restaurant purchased it off the original owners and now has the entire facility. Ive stayed during both regimes and it is slowly getting improved now that the chef has full vision for changes. It used to be housing for the higher ups of the church, so the names of the rooms are after said clergymen. It has the charm of old school construction but has some modern touches, a mixup of both. The funicular you take to the top gives a dramatic view of the Bay and the rooms are giving you the same views. It is a quiet partt of the world when you go during the non summer season. a great place to escape the crazy of the world and see the mountains and ocean. Great hospitality from the family owners to boot. read more
