Highly recommend! I…read morestayed here when I relocated from the USA to work at a nearby military installation. The hotel offers military rates and monthly rates. The front desk staff was kind enough to speak English with me while I learned German. I had a junior suite which has a separate room with a large bed. There is a fold out sofa bed in the main area. There is a small room with kitchen sink, microwave, and refrigerator. If you are hoping for a cooktop or oven there isn't one. The sunset view from the balcony is nice. I brought one cat with me. I did see other guests with dogs. The hotel prepared a litter box, food dishes, and a cat tree for my furry friend! Keep in mind that the hotel asks that your pets be in their travel kennels on cleaning days twice per week. The hotel had recently changed ownership and there was a lot of construction. However, noise was limited to certain hours of the day. Some guest service was affected. For example guest laundry was not available and breakfast had limited space. Breakfast was an extra fee but reasonable and had a good variety of choices. Location is right across the street from Salzäcker U-bahn. From there you can catch the U3 to Möhringen then the U5/6/12 to Stuttgart city center (Charlottenplatz/Schlossplatz/Hauptbahnhof). Grab the VVS app for purchasing ride tickets from your phone. Hotel is walking distance to Kelly Barracks. Several restaurants in the immediate area, two stage theaters, and a cinema. Some of the shopping and dining is a little hidden behind and underneath the Palladium theater. Also there is a carpeted pedestrian tunnel that goes underneath the street and connects the two stage theaters to parking. A little farther out there are more local restaurants. A Kaufland is two stops away on the U3 toward Möhringen for everyday shopping.

A great property to stay in Stuttgart close to the airport. Great hospitality from the staff,…read moreawesome rooms, bar, kitchen that prepare great meals (the choices available for breakfast is great). There are four separate buildings that houses rooms and during inclement weather, you may get wet/cold as you traverse between buildings, just be careful if it's icy, but they do a good job of liberally applying deicer. Just remember, it meets European standards, not US so there is no alarm/clock, and European outlets (so you will need to have adapters). PRO: * Bar - awesome selection made even better by the bartender, Steve who goes out of his way to be hospitable and makes awesome drinks * Property is awesome - bathroom is tiled, and in efficient German manner, the hot water pipes are under them so the floor is warm * Breakfast has a great mix of traditional European fare (cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, bread, muesli) as well as some American style fare (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) and coffee machine that provides various selection from expresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. * Spacious room with a separate living room area, bedroom, kitchen - my suite had three televisions, living room, bedroom, and even the batroom! CON: * No gym on site - you will need to go across the street to the KANTO Medical & Figure Lounge located on the second floor. NOTE: Bring a towel from the hotel or have cash (Euros) on hand or you will not be allowed to work out. The gym is more a "posh" spa/gym with lots of exercise machines and equipment. Work outs may not be the main focus as carpet and not the standard rubberized flooring covers the weight room area. Another limiting factor is that the operating hours is 1000-2200 (10pm). * Parking stalls are a bit tight so be aware - when leaving the garage after hours (early or late), the door will be closed, pull the rope to activate the door to open * The entrance to the property is not via the main road, but via a back entrance that is a bit confusing. Driving to property will take some map skills, or great map app (I used Waze), my colleagues another app - I did not have any issues. A definite property to stay when staying in Stuttgart, especially since its close to the airport.

We went there to get some snacks and something from the salad bar since we were too tired to go out to eat one night. The hotel itself is nice, only the rooms are extremely small. There is not even a language rack in the room. The only place you can put your suitcase is either on the floor or on the small desk. The hotel does not offer washcloths- so you might have to bring your own. The bed was comfortable-firm. The cover is relatively small for 2 people, so you better snuggle up with your partner if you don't want a cold butt at night. As far as pillows: One for each guest. The breakfast was amazing! I loved the variety of cereal, yogurt, German Brötchen and breads. There is plenty for every taste and diet. I would haven given 5 stars if there would have been a sidewalk in front of the hotel. It was under construction. We either had to walk between bobcats and on gravel or take a big loop around the hotel. The hotel does not offer shuttle services but you can schedule a taxi through the front desk to the airport for 10 Euro.

Customer service- Ask a question to mr Singh at counter and be told you must wait 45 minutes while he signs in. We needed to ask for ground floor room as the elevator became broke on our first day after taking our luggage upstairs 3rd floor. I asked for 2nd room key but once I got it doesn't open your room door. Ask for ice and he has none but will charge you 2€ for small bottle water, he said he has lemon water on counter for guests but it is now warm water sitting out all day without ice. My visiting guests who bought breakfast with us was told to pay next morning but when you go to pay, nobody is at desk to pay until 10:00 but they must leave and was told to pay the chef, but chef has no change to give back so chef keeps rest. Doors on lobby refrigerator are locked, you must wait til sighn logs in his desk computer before opening refrigerator to buy a semi cold drink. No cold water in lobby for anyone. it's 89*F and the lobby is very warm. I approached the desk, nobody there, I tapped my unusable room card on counter and mr Singh came around corner chewing something, and told me he was having his lunch. I told him My card doesn't work, he said i must try it upside down or sideways or, I stopped him & said It doesn't work after 7 tries but he wants to argue with me. i said please give me a new card that works on my room door. He gave me bad look, said okay i'll give you a new card. Maid came in anyway while my "Do not disturb" sign on door and only folded my duvet but didn't take dirty coffee cups and replace with fresh or remove garbage bags. . This hotel is being run by someone who has never ran a hotel before or understood the concept of customer service. It's in a decent location but not a great place to stay. I would rate -5 if I could. find another place if you want any service at all. We asked him if we could buy a bottle of wine, he unlocked the refrigerator and grabbed one for us, barely cold, we asked for ice to put in a bucket to keep cold. He had none. I asked Mr Singh again if he has any ice in his kitchen where they serve breakfast everyday he said normally he does but not at this time. I asked him if he has ever stayed in a hotel where they had an ice machine for the guests, he said he has never stayed in hotel where they had ice. He said "No, never". I asked if there was a place where we could drive to buy ice but he said, it's Sunday, nothing around is open. I asked if a gas station was nearby if maybe they sold ice. he said maybe a few kilometers away. I'm not from around here, I assumed he knew the area of shops that could help us. I don't think he is here for the hotel but for something else. I asked him if he knew what "Yelp" was and he said "yes". I told him I will write review and it will not be good. I said we have been guests for three days and don't get any customer service. He has nothing for the guests who stay here. He shrugged his shoulders. I don't think he even cares but he just looked down to finish counting his euros and change. He has nothing more to say. This is absolutely unacceptable way to treat guests. He hasn't even tried to apologize or try & accommodate us in any way.
